Senior Automation Engineer
Navan · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Navan Edge is an AI-powered personal assistant and concierge for frequent business travelers, on iPhone and web. It learns preferences, executes complex bookings, stacks rewards like hotel loyalty, and hands off to a 24/7 human concierge. Edge is a chat product. Screens change with the conversation, and timing is not fixed. Writing stable UI automation for that is the core of this job. You'll plan and implement iOS and web automation for Edge, and define how the tests run, fail, and get owned. What You’ll Do: • Write and maintain UI automation for iOS (Maestro or equivalent) and web (Cypress or equivalent) on booking paths: hotels, flights, restaurants, loyalty. • Make tests stable on a chat UI: no hard sleeps, variable copy and layout, streaming results. A failure should mean a real defect, not flake. • Own coverage, stability, and effectiveness of Edge automation, and maintain the CI/CD for it (Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub). • Define the protocol: what runs, when, what blocks a release, what is informational, what is skipped and why. • On failure: capture evidence, open a ticket with a named owner, retest after the fix. • Keep pass rate, flake rate, and coverage visible in dashboards people use. • Work daily with iOS, web, Edge, and SRE. Escalate quality risks early. What We’re Looking For: • 3 to 5 years building and owning UI automation, not only running an existing suite. • Experience automating dynamic or conversational UIs, or a clear record of fixing flaky tests. • Hands-on with agents and models: working with an agent product, MCP (or equivalent tool and agent interfaces), and enough model and LLM literacy to test and debug agent-driven UI. Not prompt research. • iOS: Maestro, or Appium/XCUITest with the ability to work in Maestro. • Web: Cypress or Playwright. • Strong troubleshooting and clear communication. Tickets include evidence and a named owner. • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Nice to have: • Maestro and Cypress in the same role. • Grafana. • Bitrise (CI/CD platform). • Slack and JIRA used a failure-to-ticket process. Navan uses AI-assisted Automated Employment Decision Tool (Metaview) to assist with evaluating resumes against job qualifications for this role. All final decisions are made by human recruiters and hiring managers. Human oversight: Metaview does not automatically reject candidates or make final hiring decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, learns quickly, and is energized by AI-native products. They create clarity and momentum without waiting for perfect information, roll up their sleeves, and drive work through uncertainty and chaos. What You'll Do • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for Book with AI across Hotels, Rental Cars, and Rail. • Own the full Book with AI journey: intent understanding, search, ranking and recommendations, policy and personalization, comparison, contract, checkout, booking, and post-booking support. • Define a coherent cross-LOB experience for users who want to plan and book multiple parts of a trip, including clear sequencing, handoffs, and expectations. • Improve the product's key outcomes, including successful booking completion, conversion, time to book, user effort, CSAT, trust, and repeat usage. • Lead experimentation across conversational flows, recommendations, search and booking surfaces, using clear hypotheses and measurable success criteria. • Partner with AI, data, and engineering teams to improve intent understanding, ranking, recommendations, personalization, tool orchestration, and the use of conversational and UI-based experiences. • Establish a strong product feedback loop, such as organizing and prioritizing bug bash findings, investigate production conversations, connect issues to root causes, and ensure fixes are validated before and after release. • Define meaningful goals and evaluation criteria for AI behavior, including task completion, factual accuracy, policy compliance, correct tool and UI usage, response quality, latency, and safe recovery from failures. • Align stakeholders across product, engineering, design, ML, data, travel operations, support, and adjacent Navan teams. • Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, status, risks, and learnings clearly to leadership and the broader organization. • Represent the customer in every discussion and ensure that the AI is transparent about limitations, unsupported requests, changing prices, availability, and booking status. What We're Looking For • 4+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of owning and shipping customer-facing products. • Experience owning a complex product or product area end to end, including strategy, discovery, prioritization, execution, launch, and measurement. • Strong product judgment and the ability to balance customer value, business impact, technical complexity, reliability, and speed. • Experience improving measurable product outcomes such as conversion, task completion, engagement, retention, or customer satisfaction. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create alignment with leadership, collaborate across diverse stakeholders, and communicate effectively with customers. • A data-informed approach to product decisions, combined with strong qualitative judgment and customer empathy. • Curiosity about AI products and the ability to reason about probabilistic systems, failure modes, evaluation, guardrails, and human trust. • A practical, ownership-oriented mindset: you find the problem, clarify it, bring the right people together, and drive it through resolution. Nice to have • Experience building AI assistants, conversational products, recommendation systems, search experiences, or agentic workflows. • Experience defining or using LLM evaluations, quality rubrics, production monitoring, or experimentation frameworks. How you will make an impact In your first months, you will build a deep understanding of the Book with AI experience and its users, establish a clear view of the highest-impact opportunities across Hotels, Cars, and Rail, and create a focused execution rhythm with the team. With over 50 global offices and unicorn status since 2019, Navan has rapidly scaled while disrupting the corporate travel industry. We’re expanding our Tel Aviv office and looking for a Conversation Designer to join Navan Edge, our new AI-first product built for frequent business travelers. You’ll decide who our agent is: how it sounds, how it thinks out loud, how it handles a delayed flight at 2 a.m., and how it earns a traveler’s trust one message at a time. If you’re the person who can spot an off-tone sentence instantly, explain exactly why it’s wrong, and rewrite it so it sounds human, this role is for you. What You’ll Do: • Define our AI agent’s tone of voice, character and personality, and turn them into clear, usable guidelines for the agent and the team. • Test and iterate on the agent’s voice. Build evaluation criteria and test sets, review real conversations, and refine based on what you find. • Write conversational copy across the product, including agent responses, onboarding, prompts and suggestions, errors and edge cases, notifications, and the in-between moments. • Design how the agent behaves when things go wrong: delays, cancellations, misunderstandings, and handoffs to human support. • Keep voice and tone consistent across chat, voice and visual surfaces, from first message to post-trip follow-up. • Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing. Use qualitative feedback and quantitative data to guide your decisions. • Champion user trust and transparency in how the agent communicates, especially around recommendations, decisions and personalization. • Present your work and its rationale clearly to cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders. • Own your work from concept through launch and post-launch iteration. What We’re Looking For: • 5+ years of experience in conversation design, UX writing, content design, or a closely related field. • Native-level English. You have an ear for rhythm, nuance and register, and you know when a sentence sounds slightly off. • Hands-on experience designing for conversational products: chatbots, AI assistants, voice interfaces, or LLM-powered agents. • A portfolio that shows how you developed a voice or personality, and how that voice shows up in real conversational copy and dialogue. • Experience writing for and with LLMs, including prompting, iterating on model output, and judging quality at scale. Alternatively, a strong curiosity about it and a fast learning curve. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn conversation logs and data into concrete improvements. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines, especially with engineering and data science. Bonus Points: • Experience building evaluation frameworks or rubrics for AI output. • A background in creative writing, screenwriting, character writing, or editorial work. • Experience in travel tech, hospitality or logistics, and an understanding of time-sensitive, multi-step journeys. • Experience designing for voice interfaces. Navan uses AI-assisted Automated Employment Decision Tool (Metaview) to assist with evaluating resumes against job qualifications for this role. Description About Port At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum. We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents. By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability. As a product-led company, we believe in building platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate. About the role At Port, we've taken a platform-first, builder mindset from day one, developing the modular building §blocks we call pillars. Our users are exceptional engineers who continuously build creative and unexpected solutions with our platform. Being a PM here means embracing that creative tension while staying relentlessly focused on where the platform needs to go next. As a PM at Port, you'll own a pillar end-to-end alongside your team of engineers and designers. You'll build and evolve it as a standalone value stream and as a connected part of the broader platform. PMs at Port are full picture owners: they shape the story of their pillar from market positioning to technical enablement, defining success not just by what gets shipped, but by the measurable impact it delivers. What you'll do • Define what to build and why. Go deep with customers, analyze usage data, and research the competitive landscape. Bring that view to your team, build a sharp perspective on what's worth building next, and communicate the reasoning to engineering, leadership, and the market. • Shape experiences engineers choose to use. Port’s developer experience spans the entire ecosystem across the UI, API, CLI, and daily chat and coding interfaces. Work closely with design and engineering to make each surface deliberate, from the first wireframe through launch. • Drive cross-functional impact. At Port, PMs don't hand off and wait. You work across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and CS throughout the full product cycle, accountable for picking the right problem, the solution built, and whether the launch lands. • Build for agents and developers. Port is the context and action layer for both. Shape your domain so agents can act on it reliably and developers can navigate it intuitively. Understand the tradeoffs in how data, APIs, and interfaces serve both. Separate the signal from the hype, and use that view to sharpen your roadmap. • Measure what matters. Define success metrics before you ship. Track adoption, analyze what's landing, and iterate until the outcome is real. Requirements • 4+ years in product management across at least two companies or roles, with a track record of shipping products that developers or technical users rely on. • Shipped an AI-powered product. You know what it takes to get an AI product or feature into production at a quality bar that users trust. • Technically grounded. You've experimented with APIs, MCP, CLI, and similar surfaces. You can think like the engineer you're building for and hold your own in technical conversations. • Obsessed with experience. You care deeply about how something feels to use, not just what it does. Whether it's a UI, API, chat, or CLI interface, you've worked closely with designers and engineers to make each surface right, and pushed back when something wasn't good enough. • Analytical. You work with both qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions. You define success metrics before you ship and use them to decide what to do next. • Hands-on with AI. AI tools are part of your daily workflow. You have a real thesis on where AI for developers is heading, and you can articulate why. • Strong communicator. You explain product decisions clearly, inspire the team around a direction, and can tell the story of what you're building to customers and executives alike. • Collaborative by default. You share credit, ask for input, and make the people around you better. You've pulled a team forward on something hard, not just contributed to it.

Why we’re looking for you: We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform team and own the reliability of Port’s production platform. For many of our customers, Port is a critical part of their infrastructure, and they count on it to be reliable and performant. Your focus will be reliability and observability. You’ll help teams monitor their services efficiently, set best practices for monitoring defaults and high value metrics, define SLOs and error budgets, and standardize how we investigate incidents and learn from them. You’ll be the person who defines what “reliable” means for each service, measures it, and makes sure we keep that promise. Success here looks like fewer and shorter incidents, alerts that people trust, error budgets that guide decisions, and dev teams that ship confidently to production. Your responsibilities will include: • Define and own SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for Port’s critical services, together with the teams that own them, and use them to guide release and prioritization decisions • Evolve our observability stack - metrics, logs, traces, and alerting - so issues are caught before customers notice • Lead incident response and postmortems - coordinate mitigation and communication during incidents, run blameless postmortems, and track follow-up actions to completion • Shape and take part in the on-call rotation - runbooks, escalation paths, and alert hygiene for a sustainable on-call experience • Partner with R&D teams on production readiness - review new services and major changes for reliability, scalability, and operability before launch • Drive capacity planning and performance work - load testing, finding bottlenecks, and scaling the platform ahead of customer growth • Strengthen system stability with AI - use Port and our monitoring stack to give incident-response agents the context and tools to investigate incidents, suggest fixes, and resolve them, reducing MTTR and improving how we handle incidents. Who you’ll work with: • You’ll report to the Platform team lead and work alongside your Platform team teammates on the infrastructure and delivery foundations that reliability depends on. • You’ll partner with R&D teams to set reliability targets and improve how their services behave in production. • You’ll work with FinOps where relevant, to balance reliability and performance with cost. Requirements What we’re looking for: • 5+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or a DevOps/platform role with clear ownership of production reliability. • Hands-on experience operating production workloads on Kubernetes in AWS (or a similar cloud provider). • Strong experience with observability tooling such as New Relic, Sentry, and OpenTelemetry, or similar, including designing meaningful alerts and dashboards. • Practical experience defining and working with SLIs/SLOs and error budgets. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, such as Terraform and GitHub Actions, or similar. • Good understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, and common failure modes of cloud-native SaaS platforms. • Experience operating AI or agent-based systems in production. • Solid coding skills in at least one language (e.g. Python, Go, or TypeScript/Node.js) for automation and tooling. • A track record of driving reliability improvements across teams, including without formal authority, and mentoring other engineers. • Hands-on experience with incident response and postmortems. • Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure. • Fluent Hebrew and English. Nice to have: • Experience with load and performance testing at scale. • Experience with chaos engineering or structured failure testing. • Experience operating databases, queues, or streaming systems in production.

BI Lead
Port · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description About Port Port is the Agentic SDLC Platform. The way engineering teams build software is constantly evolving, and every new wave - such as AI agents operating across the SDLC- makes engineering more powerful, but also more complex and chaotic. Port turns that chaos into control: one platform to build, govern, and operate the software development lifecycle, enabling every team to move as fast as technology allows. Following our $100M Series C funding round, we are entering an exciting stage of significant growth and global expansion. As a product-led company, we believe the recipe for success is a world-class product that speaks for itself. About the role: We are looking for a BI Lead to join our Data team. You will define the metrics the company runs on, make sure they are modeled correctly, and set the technical standards our analysts work with. You'll work directly with Sales, Product, and Marketing leaders to align on what we measure and why. As our technical lead for analytics, you own the definitions and standards that drive business decisions across Port. As our BI Lead, you'll own the analytics function end-to-end: defining what we measure and why, setting technical and organizational standards for how we measure it, and empowering teams across the organization to make data-driven decisions. You'll be hands-on technically while also developing processes that scale. Key Responsibilities: • Define, own, and validate business logic behind core KPIs with executives, align definitions with relevant stakeholders, and once approved, model them in the data warehouse to ensure consistent, trusted metrics across all teams. • Work closely with stakeholders across the company (Sales, Product, Marketing, etc.) to understand what needs to be measured, why and how. • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Analytics to design scalable data pipelines, data models, and semantic layers that support analytics, experimentation, and advanced modeling. • Lead the evaluation, selection, and optimization of BI and data infrastructure in collaboration with data engineering. • Build and maintain the cross-company dashboards and reports that business leaders actually rely on to make decisions. Requirements • 5+ years in analytics, BI, or data product management working in B2B SaaS companies, ideally developer tooling or platform. • Strong understanding of business analytics, KPI definition, and metrics design. • Proven experience owning data and analytics products end-to-end, from business problem definition and measurement strategy through strategy, development, and production. • Experience working with a modern data stack: warehouse (Snowflake or similar), dbt or an equivalent transformation layer, a semantic layer, and a BI tool. • Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks, metrics definitions, and dashboards. • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to business leaders.

Personal Attributes & Mindset • High ownership mentality — you treat our social channels as your own product and care deeply about every reply and post. • Strong sense of structure — you are highly organized and can manage a multi-channel calendar without friction. • Comfortable with technical ambiguity — you aren't afraid to dive into documentation to find the "hook" for a post. • Collaborative and creative — you can brainstorm with designers one hour and data analysts the next. • Clear and witty communicator — you have a "voice" that is professional yet authentic to the developer community. • Cares deeply about impact — you don't just chase "likes"; you care about driving meaningful conversation and brand affinity.
