P
DevOps Engineer- Avon
Pagaya · Tel Aviv-Yafo

About Avon AI Avon AI is the management and control platform for enterprise conversational AI. Enterprises are deploying AI agents faster than they can govern them — Avon AI gives them one place to manage those agents and the knowledge behind them: continuous quality monitoring of real conversations, proactive testing and simulation before changes ship, knowledge-base management, and real-time guardrails that can sit inline in the conversation path to block, redact, or correct what an agent says. We are agent-agnostic: Avon AI works with agents our customers built themselves and with third-party agents they only integrate with — across any framework or vendor. Customers run us as SaaS on AWS, or deploy the full platform inside their own private cloud when regulation demands it. We're a small, fast-moving team with offices in Tel Aviv, working with enterprise customers in finance, healthcare, insurance, travel, and more. About the Role We're looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to own our infrastructure end to end- both sides of it. Side one is our multi-tenant SaaS on AWS: you build it, you run it, you keep it fast, secure, and up. Side two is the part that makes this role unusual — our enterprise customers deploy Avon AI inside their cloud (and sometimes fully air-gapped, on-prem environments). You'll own that too: packaging the platform, running the installation with the customer's infrastructure and security teams, and being the person on the call when their environment doesn't look like anyone's reference architecture. This is a customer-facing engineering role. You'll be in rooms with enterprise IT, security, and platform teams- walking them through our architecture, answering security review questions, and unblocking deployments. If you want a pure behind-the-scenes infra job, this isn't it. If you like owning infrastructure and being the trusted technical voice in front of a customer, read on. You'll be our first dedicated DevOps hire, which means you inherit real systems in production and a lot of room to shape how they evolve. Key Responsibilities • EKS, networking, data stores, CI/CD, cost, and uptime. Build and evolve it with Infrastructure as Code. • Maintain and improve our Helm charts and container distribution so Avon AI installs cleanly in a customer's Kubernetes cluster. • Plan and execute installations in customers' private clouds and on-prem/air-gapped environments, working hands-on with their infrastructure teams from kickoff through go-live. • Support security reviews and architecture discussions, and translate enterprise IT constraints back into our roadmap. • IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, WAF, and the controls enterprise customers audit us on. • Metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting for our SaaS, and self-contained monitoring for customers who won't ship telemetry outside their network. • CI/CD pipelines, ephemeral PR sandboxes, release automation, and local development so engineers ship quickly and safely. • For our SaaS tenants and for deployed customer installations, including on-call ownership of what you build Requirements • 4+ years as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer. • Strong hands-on AWS- EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation/CDK, WAF. • Deep Kubernetes knowledge- cluster architecture, networking, and real production debugging. Helm authoring is a must, not a nice-to-have: our charts are the product our customers install. • Infrastructure as Code- Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent, with a real automation mindset. • CI/CD ownership- GitHub Actions (preferred), Jenkins, or similar, including release and artifact pipelines. • Docker and container packaging- multi-service images, registries, and distribution to environments you don't control. • Strong scripting and automation- Python and Bash. • Monitoring and observability- Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, Coralogix, CloudWatch, or similar. • Excellent English, written and spoken, and genuine customer-facing skills — you can lead a technical call with an enterprise customer's infra and security team, explain an architecture clearly, and stay calm when a deployment is blocked. • Proven track record running highly available, production-grade, service-oriented systems. Our Pagaya Team Pagaya was founded in 2016 by seasoned research, finance, and technology entrepreneurs, and we are now 500+ strong in New York, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv. Technical Deployment Engineer
Kela Technologies · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description Kela is a defense technology startup pioneering next-generation command-and-control and data infrastructure systems. We empower defense organizations with robust, scalable, and secure platforms that integrate diverse sensors and AI to deliver real-time battlefield intelligence. Backed by leading investors, Kela combines Israeli innovation with global mission impact. This role involves getting our systems into the field and working, from site readiness and installation, through integration and commissioning, to formal acceptance and handover. Most of the work is from the offices, with travel to customer sites for surveys, deployments, and hands-on work. Requirements What you'll do • Plan and execute deployments: site readiness, hardware installation, network bring-up, edge compute provisioning, and stack integration (cameras, radars, networking, the Kela platform) • Prepare deployments before they leave the building: staging, imaging, configuration, pre-delivery testing, and kit verification • Integrate with customer infrastructure and third-party systems, and resolve the issues that only surface once the system is deployed. • Troubleshoot across application, infrastructure, and network layers under field conditions and time pressure • Hand over cleanly: train operators, deliver documentation, and make sure the site is supportable after you leave • Support deployed sites remotely - version rollouts, config changes, hotfixes - and escalate to R&D, systems, and algo when issues need to go deeper • Build and maintain the deployment runbooks, checklists, and tooling that turn a one-off into a repeatable process • Report field findings back to the product and engineering teams: what broke, what was missing, what should be different next time • Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, especially when things are time-sensitive What we need • 3+ years in field deployment, integration, field engineering, or a similar hands-on role in mission-critical environments • Strong Linux fundamentals and hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes • Networking across the stack: complex topologies, cellular, satellite, VPN/overlay networks, with real experience debugging connectivity on live sites • Comfortable with hardware: racking, cabling, power, sensors, mounts, and the physical realities of a site • Proficient in Bash and Python for automation and one-off investigations • Hands-on with databases and storage: queries, diagnostics, understanding what's happening under the hood • Able to read code and debug logs to trace issues to root cause • Fluent with GitHub as a daily tool • Effective in the field: works methodically under pressure, in uncomfortable conditions, with incomplete information • Precise, analytical, and reflective: you draw conclusions from data, not instinct, and you make sure the same problem doesn't bite you twice • Strong ownership and a can-do mindset: you take initiative, drive tasks to completion, and finish the half-finished thing you walked past • Learns quickly and operates effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Clear communicator, in writing and on calls, with technical and non-technical people

Senior Algorithm Developer — Robotics Team
Kela Technologies · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description Kela is a secure, open platform enabling rapid and seamless integration of commercial and military systems in service of Western defense. Designed and battle-tested by Israeli innovators, Kela ensures the West meets today's frontline challenges and evolves with tomorrow's innovations. Backed by leading investors, Kela combines Israeli innovation with global mission impact. About the Role Our Robotics department works across unmanned ground vehicles, humanoids, quadrupeds, and drones. We combine classical, modular policy stacks with modern physical AI — integrating and fine-tuning open-source foundation models, and designing and training our own perception, planning, and control modules where nothing off-the-shelf is good enough. We're looking for a world-class Senior Algorithm Developer to join the team. We need people who think big, move fast, and have a track record that proves they can take an algorithmic problem from a whiteboard sketch to a system running reliably in the field. Requirements Responsibilities • Research and develop algorithms spanning classical methods and deep learning. • Design and build perception, planning, localization, navigation and control modules for real, unstructured environments. • Integrate, adapt, and fine-tune open-source physical AI foundation models. • Own algorithmic pipelines end to end: data, simulation, training, evaluation, deployment. • Apply reinforcement learning and imitation learning to build robust, capable policies. • Build and run simulation environments to train and validate policies before field deployment. • Work closely with systems and software engineers to close the loop between algorithms and real-world performance. • Take ownership of problems end to end, from open question to fielded solution. Must-have • A proven track record of excellence — top academic background, competitive achievements, elite technological unit service, or high-impact work in industry — and the potential to become one of the strongest in the world in physical AI. • Several years of hands-on experience as an algorithm developer, with real seniority: someone who can own hard problems independently. • Strong foundations in classical algorithms and control, alongside real depth in modern deep learning. • A builder's mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, driven by hard problems, focused on real-world performance. • B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Applied Math, Physics, or a related field from a leading institution. Nice-to-have • Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning and/or imitation learning. • Practical experience building data pipelines and simulation environments for training and evaluation. • Strong software engineering skills. • Experience integrating, fine-tuning, or deploying open-source foundation models. • Experience with robotics tooling (ROS/ROS2), simulators (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo), and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, etc.). Why Join • Work across UGVs, humanoids, quadrupeds, and drones as the group grows. • Sit at the frontier of physical AI — shaping which approach wins for each problem, classical, learned, or hybrid. • Join a small, high-caliber team where your algorithms reach real robots in the field, fast. • Be part of a fast-growing, well-backed Israeli defense tech company with global impact.
