Jobs in Tel Aviv-Yafo
Description The Reality Most QA roles are about writing scripts to catch bugs after the code is written. This isn't one of those roles. At VAST Data, we aren't just scaling software; we are building the fundamental engine that powers the global AI revolution. When you are managing exabytes of data at breaking-point speeds, traditional testing methodologies crumble. We don't need someone to follow a test plan. We need an architect to build a self-evolving, intelligent testing ecosystem. The Mission We want you to build the AI tools that validate our AI data platform. You will design autonomous, agentic systems that actively look for vulnerabilities, orchestrate their own testing logic, navigate distributed dependencies, and isolate regressions entirely on their own before they hit production. If you are a systems-level builder who gets excited by complex distributed systems, autonomous logic, and breaking things at an elite engineering scale, this is your playground. Requirements What You’ll Actually Do Everyday • Build AI Agents for Quality: Design and deploy production-grade Python frameworks and LLM-driven agentic tools that dynamically generate, execute, and self-correct test environments. • Orchestrate Chaos at Scale: Move past static assertions. You’ll build runtime verification tools that stress-test data integrity, multi-node failures, and deep storage engine behaviors. • Ditch the Manual Mindset: Drive our entire automation architecture toward a state where human intervention is the exception, not the rule. • Partner with Core R&D: Work side-by-side with our systems architects to inject intelligent code evaluation pipelines right into our fast-moving CI/CD engines. What You Bring to the Table • A Builder's Mindset: You consider yourself a software engineer first, who happens to apply their skills to infrastructure reliability and complex validation. • Python Mastery: You don't just use automation tools; you build them. You write clean, scalable, object-oriented code that other engineers love to read. • Distributed Systems Context: You understand the unique pain points of Linux kernels, multi-tenant networking layers, containerization (Docker/K8s), and data pipeline architectures. • AI Curiosity: You have hands-on experience or deep curiosity regarding LLMs, prompt pipelines, and modern AI developer environments.

Description VAST Data is the data platform company for the AI era. We build enterprise software infrastructure to capture, catalog, refine, enrich, and protect massive datasets, and make them available for real-time data analysis and AI training and inference. Designed from the ground up to make AI simple to deploy and manage, VAST takes the cost and complexity out of deploying enterprise and AI infrastructure across data center, edge, and cloud. About the Role : The fastest system in the world is only as fast as the network under it. As a Network Engineer in VAST's Field Engineering organization, you define how VAST connects to the world: the reference architectures, validated switch configurations, and RDMA fabric designs every customer deployment is built on. This is a design and research role, not a support queue. You will build and run the lab where new switches, NICs, and network operating systems are qualified before they ever reach a customer. You will investigate why a fabric behaves differently at 800G than it did at 100G, and turn the answer into a standard the whole field organization uses. When a strategic customer hits something nobody has seen before, you reproduce it, explain it, and make sure it never happens to the next customer. You will work across R&D, QA, Support, Product, and customer engineering teams, and directly with networking vendors including NVIDIA, Arista, Cisco, and Juniper. The work sits where AI infrastructure is hardest: GPU fabrics, lossless Ethernet, and storage protocols moving at line rate. Requirements What a Day in the Life Looks Like : Design the Architecture: Define reference network architectures for VAST deployments: L2 and L3 fabrics, BGP and EVPN/VXLAN designs, RoCEv2 and QoS policy. Decide what "good" looks like, then write it down so the field can execute it consistently. Own the Lab: Build and run validation environments for switch qualification, interoperability testing, performance characterization, and reproduction of customer issues. Your lab is where we find problems before customers do. Qualify the Ecosystem: Evaluate new switches, network operating systems, and NICs from NVIDIA, Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and others. Work directly with vendor engineering teams to close gaps and certify what works. Solve What Nobody Else Can: Chase complex problems across the full path between GPUs, fabric, and storage. Congestion, packet loss, MTU, latency, PFC and ECN behavior under real load. Root cause it, then fix it at the source. Turn Findings into Product: Feed what you learn back into VAST, as documented best practice, as automation, and as direct input to R&D on what the platform should do differently. Professional Experience & Skills • Strong data center networking fundamentals - CCNP level or equivalent hands-on experience • Solid command of BGP and L3 routing: eBGP/iBGP, ECMP, route policy, multipath, BGP-based fabrics • Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting both L2 and L3 data center networks • Real troubleshooting ability across layers - routing, ARP/ND, MTU, congestion, packet loss, latency • Working knowledge of Linux networking: interfaces, VLANs, routing tables, namespaces, MTU • Comfort with tcpdump, Wireshark, iperf, and the standard diagnostic toolkit • The instinct to build a lab and reproduce a problem rather than theorize about it • Clear technical writing - your designs and findings are only useful if others can follow them

Description Senior DevOps Engineer - Cybersecurity Hybrid | Israel About the Company DriveNets is a leader in large-scale networking solutions for AI infrastructure and service providers. The company's disaggregated networking architecture transforms the economics of large-scale infrastructures while maximizing performance, utilization, and operational efficiency. Its high-performance AI fabric maximizes GPU utilization and accelerates deployments by optimizing the AI stack end-to-end, resulting in higher tokens-per-second and lower cost-per-token. DriveNets' solutions power production networks for global tier-1 operators like AT&T and Comcast, and scale multi-vendor AI infrastructures at foundation model labs, NeoClouds, and enterprises. DriveNets' Cybersecurity business unit is building an AI-powered security platform for the world's largest service provider networks. The platform combines a cloud-native microservices backend with self-hosted LLM inference, delivered into customers' own Kubernetes environments — often air-gapped, with no data leaving their premises. Responsibilities • Own the platform's Helm charts and make them portable across any Kubernetes distribution, including OpenShift (non-root, restricted SCCs, NetworkPolicies). • Operate the self-hosted operator stack: CloudNativePG, Strimzi, ECK, MinIO, Redis, and Temporal. • Run the Nx monorepo pipelines and drive the ArgoCD GitOps rollout. • Build zero-downtime releases using blue/green and canary deployments, expand/contract migrations, and automated rollback. • Manage autoscaling with KEDA/HPA, backup/restore for stateful services, and load-validation of stamp sizing tiers. • Provide on-call support for dev/staging environments and customer stamps. • Build and maintain observability using Grafana Alloy, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus/Grafana — dashboards and alerts across services, Kafka, databases, and GPUs. • Improve developer experience through a shared dev cluster with local-debug traffic interception (Telepresence / mirrord), targeting sub-15-minute onboarding. Requirements Technical Skills • 5+ years of DevOps / platform engineering experience in a product company. • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm, including shipping software onto clusters you don't control. • Production experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), infrastructure as code, and zero-downtime release engineering. • Experience running stateful workloads on Kubernetes via operators (Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch). • Solid grasp of observability fundamentals: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry. • Comfortable operating in air-gapped environments without managed cloud services. Soft Skills • Strong cross-functional collaboration — works daily with AI/ML Ops, backend, research, and solutions teams on customer onboarding. • Comfortable owning production reliability and on-call responsibilities. Nice to Have / Advantage • Experience with OpenShift, KEDA, and Temporal. • Hands-on AI inference infrastructure experience: deploying and operating LLM inference on Kubernetes with GPUs (vLLM, TGI, Triton, or similar). • GPU scheduling and node readiness, model packaging for offline delivery. • Experience with LLM gateways (LiteLLM) and LLM observability (Langfuse). If your experience is close but doesn't fulfil all requirements, please submit your application.
