Cato Networks is the converged network and security cloud for the AI era. As AI reshapes cybersecurity, enterprises face a dual challenge: unlocking AI’s potential while defending against AI-driven attacks. Cato addresses both through a unified, cloud-native platform, providing the visibility and context to prioritize risks and stop threats in real time across users, applications, data, and AI agents. Join us as we scale: take on ambitious technological challenges and shape the next generation of enterprise security at a company trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. About the role We’re building a new product at the intersection of AI and data security - with startup speed, real ownership and Cato’s enterprise scale behind us. Join Cato DataSec to turn complex security data into a product that helps enterprises adopt AI with confidence. This is an opportunity to shape a product from its earliest stages: solve open engineering problems, make architectural decisions and get working software into customers’ hands. You’ll build on Cato’s global SASE cloud, with real customers and real data from day one. The engineering spans distributed systems, high-volume data processing, advanced analytics and the frontend experience that brings them together. The challenge is turning fragmented signals into intelligence that customers can act on - quickly, reliably and at scale. What you'll do • Ship complete features. Own capabilities end to end, from data pipelines and backend services through APIs and frontend implementation, rollout and iteration. • Find connections in complex data. Develop correlation and analytical capabilities that turn large volumes of security events into meaningful insights. • Build for scale. Design and operate streaming and batch pipelines, balancing throughput, latency, correctness and cost. • Shape the architecture. Make decisions across backend services, data processing and analytics, and validate them against production behaviour. • Stay close to the customer problem. Work with Product, Research, Data Science and security teams to turn emerging needs into shipped capabilities. • Own what you ship. Investigate issues, improve performance and reliability, and keep raising the quality of the product. Our stack includes Java/Spring Boot, Kafka, Spark/Flink, ClickHouse/Athena and AWS. Who we're looking for You’ve built something substantial and stayed with it after launch. You can explain the decisions you made, the constraints you worked around and what changed once real users arrived. You’ve taken an unclear problem, worked out a practical approach and shipped a useful first version. You make progress without waiting for every detail to be specified, and you know which assumptions need testing before moving ahead. You want to remain hands-on across the product: writing backend code, building frontend flows and owning production outcomes. You follow a feature through to a usable customer experience, including work outside your strongest area. Your background might be a startup, a large-scale platform, a technology unit or research. Math, engineering and other non-CS paths are welcome. What you’ve built - and how you approached it - matters more than a perfect CV. Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on backend or software engineering, including production delivery. • Built and operated a data-intensive system, pipeline or analytics service. • Production experience with distributed systems and event-streaming infrastructure. • Shipped a user-facing feature end to end, with hands-on contributions to both backend and frontend implementation. • Can explain technical tradeoffs using concrete examples involving scale, reliability, performance or data correctness. • Can walk through a production issue you diagnosed and how you verified the fix. Advantages • Correlation, similarity or entity resolution: matching, identity graphs or near-duplicate detection. • Data or AI security: DLP, CASB, DSPM, insider risk or AI-security systems. • Spark plus ClickHouse/Athena: pipeline development and analytical performance. • Flink or systems processing billions of events per day. • AWS, privacy engineering or production ML capabilities. • Startup, founding-team or zero-to-one product experience. Why join Build at an early stage with the reach of an established security platform. You’ll influence the architecture, work through problems without a ready-made playbook and see your decisions tested by enterprise use. If you want your next role to include “built it from scratch” and “owned it in production,” we’d like to hear from you.

Senior Software Engineer (Agentic Search) - Web Access Engineer
Nebius · Israel

About Nebius: Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure. Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI. Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D. The Product In a rapidly evolving world, trust in AI depends on AI agents being grounded in fresh, verified real-world data. Search is the foundation that makes this possible. We are building an agent-native search platform designed specifically for AI systems rather than human users. Our product provides programmatic, low-latency, and observable search APIs that AI agents use to retrieve, filter, and reason over real-world information at scale. The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the web access infrastructure of a novel search engine tailored for agentic AI consumption. In this role, you will focus on making our access to public web content reliable and efficient. You will investigate how modern websites and browsers communicate across the full request lifecycle, find the root cause when a request fails or returns something unexpected, and build the fixes into production systems operating at internet scale. Your work ensures that high-quality content is consistently available to the crawling, indexing and retrieval systems downstream. In this position, your responsibility will be to • Diagnose failed or degraded requests at the right layer: network and IP, TLS and HTTP/2 behavior, headers and session state, client-side scripts, or browser characteristics • Analyze how websites verify and classify clients, including how client-side scripts and protocol-level behavior shape what a site serves to different clients • Build clients and tooling that behave consistently and compatibly with standard browsers across all of these layers, using a real browser where a lightweight client is not enough • Monitor access quality as websites change: detect regressions, find the cause, and measure success on real content rather than on status codes • Build the tooling to do this at scale: traffic capture and comparison against real browsers, per-site and per-method success tracking, and the cost of each successful fetch • Choose the fetch method for each host, from a lightweight HTTP client to a full browser, balancing quality against cost You may be a good fit if you Have 5+ years of experience building production systems, and are an expert in several of the following areas. The request lifecycle • HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3, TLS handshakes and TLS fingerprints (JA3/JA4), and header behavior • What a server can observe at each step of a request, and what a client controls at each step • A debugging method, not guesses: replaying captured browser traffic, comparing against a real browser on the same network path, and changing one variable at a time Client-side analysis • Reading and analyzing complex or obfuscated JavaScript, and observing what a script measures by hooking browser APIs • How browser, device and network characteristics are measured (canvas, fonts, WebGL, screen and window metrics) and how consistent they are across layers • Browser instrumentation and the Chrome DevTools Protocol, used as tools for investigation Running it for real • Have run this in production and can give numbers: requests per day, sites or hosts, and the success rate and how you measured it • Strong programming in at least one of Go, Python, Rust or C++ Strong candidates may also have experience with • Working at a web data provider, a browser or web-security company, or a company that collects data from complex sources • Contributions to browser networking or fingerprinting-related open-source tooling, or public write-ups of how client verification works • Building or maintaining a patched browser • Networks, proxies and IP reputation • Internet-scale distributed systems, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure The kind of problems you will work on • A site returns a different response to our client than to Chrome on the same network path. Find out why, and fix that cause. • A site changes how it verifies clients and success drops across a group of sites. Find what changed, adapt, and make the next change cheaper to catch. • Switching to a browser-like network profile makes results worse on some hosts. Work out what no longer matches. We conduct coding interviews as part of the process. Benefits & Perks: • Competitive compensation • Career growth and learning opportunities • Flexibility and ownership • Collaborative and innovative culture • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects • International environment and talented teams What's it like to work at Nebius: Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI Equal Opportunity Statement: Nebius is an equal opportunity employer. ServiceNow · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Job Description Senior Staff Software Engineer (AppSec), Tel Aviv We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the AppSec engineering team in Armis R&D and lead it from the inside. The team builds Armis Centrix for Application Security, an AI-native AppSec product built from the ground up over the past year and now growing into a core product line. You get the best of both worlds: a small, autonomous team that owns its product end to end, backed by the data, expertise, and stability of Armis and ServiceNow engineering. If you love taking a product from its first customers to enterprise scale, own outcomes end to end, and raise the bar for the people around you, this is for you. What You'll Do Lead From the Code: Be a technical lead in the team, hands-on in architecture, design, and the critical paths of the codebase, with the accountability that comes with it. Build Agentic AppSec: Design and build LLM-based agents and pipelines that analyze real-world codebases at scale: orchestration, tool use, context engineering, and the deterministic components that do what models shouldn't. Make AI Trustworthy: Own evaluation-driven development: the evaluation harness, golden datasets, regression gates in CI, and cost and latency tracking, so every pipeline change is measured before it ships. Own the Backend & AI Architecture: Design robust, multi-tenant microservice cloud environments with security by design as the default. Run the Team's Rhythm: Drive planning, estimation, and delivery of commitments; turn designs into clear, estimated work that engineers own. Grow People: Mentor, review designs and code, and set engineering standards, with a growth path into formal team leadership as the team scales. Engage Beyond the Code: Work directly with product, customers, support, sales, and leadership to gather real-world insight, unblock fast, and align technical direction with the business. Collaborate Globally: Work closely with engineers and stakeholders across Israel, the US, Canada, and India. Qualifications • 8+ years of deep backend/systems experience, strong Python, and real production experience in a multi-tenant microservice cloud environment • Must: hands-on experience building LLM-based agents or agentic pipelines in production: orchestration, tool use, context engineering, model selection, cost and latency at scale • Must: hands-on experience evaluating them: an evaluation harness, golden datasets, or benchmark suites you built or owned, and you can explain how you knew a change made the system better rather than different • A track record of owning outcomes end to end, from early stage to scale, including a commitment that went wrong and what you did about it • A security engineering mindset: tenant isolation, access control, and secure design are non-negotiable to you • Technical leadership experience as a tech lead or team lead, with the intent to keep your hands in the code. Formal management experience is a plus • An All-Around Player: independent, execution-focused, and happy to build whatever it takes • Excellent English for working effectively across time zones Additional Information Work Personas We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust. Software Engineer

Sr Software Engineer
ServiceNow · Petah Tikva

Job Description About the role We are hiring a Sr. software engineer for the Telemetry Data Platform team, which carries product usage telemetry & performance telemetry for the entire ServiceNow platform on a stack built with Kubernetes, Kafka, and ClickHouse. We are distributed across Israel, India, and the Americas.  This is a full stack role with its center of gravity firmly on telemetry development, data pipelines, Kubernetes and DevOps work, supporting Billions of records per day. You will be equally comfortable designing a distributed system and owning it in production. If you like following a system from the event that fires to the chart that renders — and you want the pager for it — you will feel at home.  You will lead design and delivery of complex, multi-service features, own technical decisions within a domain, and are fully self-directed — escalating only genuine ambiguities and driving decisions to closure. Of the ten critical skills at this level, incident response management is the only one set at Expert; the rest are Experienced.  What you’ll do Telemetry data pipelines • Design, build, and own backend services for distributed data streaming and processing that handle high-volume, high-cardinality event data with predictable latency and no silent data loss.  • Build and maintain Kafka-based streaming pipelines and the pipeline components that feed ClickHouse.  • Own data modeling and query performance in ClickHouse — partitioning, sort keys, materialized views, retention, and the cost curve that comes with all of it.  • Partner with product and platform teams to shape requirements for telemetry ingestion and processing, then drive the solutions to production.  Kubernetes, DevOps, and production ownership • Deploy, scale, and operate services in production Kubernetes environments, including Helm-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines that make releases repeatable and safe to roll back. • Own observability for what you build — meaningful metrics, useful logs, real tracing, and alerts that fire on customer impact rather than on noise. • Debug and resolve production incidents independently, participate in on-call, run root-cause analysis, and operate against defined service level objectives. Full stack engineering and technical leadership • Own the full development lifecycle for your work, and build the backend services and APIs that expose telemetry to internal consumers, product surfaces, and AI agents — including API contracts, data models, and schema migrations. • Contribute to the analytics front end — dashboards, funnels, and exploration tools — with an eye on performance against large result sets, and improve the web and mobile capture SDKs. • Lead the design of complex, multi-service features across team boundaries, drive decisions to closure, and write the design docs and postmortems that outlive the conversation. • Raise the bar through code review, test strategy, and automation coverage, and mentor engineers on the team. Qualifications Experience and education requirements The job profile defines by scope, independence, and impact rather than years served. The minimums below are the screening bar for this requisition: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related – Required • 6+ years’ experience as backend software engineer • 4+ years’ experience in designing and operating distributed systems • 3+ years’ experience with Kubernetes in production, including Helm and CI/CD • 3+ years’ experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming and data pipelines • Experience with on-call and production support A master’s degree may offset up to one year of the experience minimum. Equivalent practical experience is considered where technical depth is clearly demonstrable. Required qualifications • Strong backend development experience in Java, Python, Go or equivalent, used in production at scale. • Hands-on experience building distributed systems for data streaming, processing, and storage. • Production experience deploying and managing services on Kubernetes, including Helm and CI/CD pipelines. • Working knowledge of Kafka or an equivalent messaging and streaming system. • Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with a columnar or analytical data store, including query optimization and physical data modeling. • Demonstrated depth in incident response and customer escalations • Enough front-end capability to build and debug a data-heavy interface: JavaScript or TypeScript with React or Angular. Desired qualifications • Production experience with ClickHouse or another OLAP or columnar store — sharding, replication, materialized views, cost tuning. • Exposure to observability tooling: OpenTelemetry, metrics and logging stacks, alerting platforms. • Experience building product analytics or telemetry platforms, or with stream processing frameworks such as Flink or Spark. • Client-side instrumentation — web or mobile SDK development, event capture, session and consent handling. AI skills Artificial intelligence strategy is a critical skill at Experienced proficiency — it applies to how you build and to what you build. • Confident use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor, paired with the critical eye to review AI-generated code as rigorously as any other — catching logic errors, security anti-patterns, and missed edge cases rather than treating model output as production-ready. • AI-assisted debugging and trace analysis, and a clear understanding of the data privacy rules governing what goes into a prompt. • Integrating LLM APIs into production features — and knowing when a model is the wrong tool for the job. Working knowledge of RAG pipelines, embedding stores, and agent frameworks; familiarity with the Model Context Protocol is a plus. • Exposing telemetry to AI agents through tool interfaces agents can use safely: predictable schemas, bounded results, clear error semantics, sane cost controls. • Designing safeguards for non-deterministic components — retry logic, circuit breakers, human-in-the-loop checkpoints — and hardening against latency spikes and hallucinated output reaching a customer. • Instrumenting AI features in production and judging their quality from telemetry and evaluation rather than impressions.
