Ensure the high availability and observability of our multi-tenant SaaS environment. • Backend & Infrastructure Focus: Design and implement high-performance backend tasks, robust infrastructure, and high-throughput Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers utilizing both REST and gRPC protocols to process real-time sensor data and telemetry. Requirements: • Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science (from a leading university) OR Alumnus of an elite military technology unit. • Experience Level: 7+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years of hardcore backend development focusing on distributed systems. • Expert Coder: You are still deeply hands-on and "hot on code". • Core Backend Stack: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (JS) and TypeScript (TS). Deep, authoritative expertise in Node.js, Express, and NestJS, alongside a profound understanding of the JS Event Loop and asynchronous programming. • Distributed Systems: Proven, battle-tested experience planning, designing, and implementing complex, high-throughput distributed systems from scratch. • Cloud Native: 5+ years across on of AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on managed services (Serverless, EKS/AKS/GKE, auto-scaling). • Architecture: Proven experience with Event-Driven Design (one of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Stream) and Microservices. • State Management: High-speed in-memory state (Redis) and relational data stores (PostgreSQL). • SaaS & Security: Expertise in secure, multi-tenant SaaS, ideally with knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and mTLS. • Containers: Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes. • Frontend Willingness: Practical experience with React and a strong willingness to touch client-side code when necessary to deliver end-to-end features. Big Advantages: • Infrastructure as Code: Deep expertise treating infrastructure as software using Server-less Framework, Terraform, AWS CDK. • AI Tooling: Experience enriching and optimizing development using dev-assisting GenAI tools (such as Cursor, CoPilot, or ClaudeCode). • Data Scale: Experience with time-series telemetry pipelines and long-term storage tiering. • Observability: Experience implementing observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). • Additional Tech: Python 3.6+ experience and multi-process/threaded application knowledge.

NVIDIA is powering the world’s most advanced AI Factories. Keeping them running depends on NVIDIA’s AI Ops platform for large-scale AI infrastructure — continuously ingesting telemetry from GPUs, NICs, switches, and links across the fleet, and delivered both as a high-scale SaaS service and as self-contained on-premises software for enterprise customers. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help make this platform deployable, operable, and scalable across customer-controlled environments ranging from a single node to tens of thousands of GPUs. This role sits at the intersection of platform software and runtime reality: packaging, configuration, deployment automation, upgrades, survivability, and large-scale operational correctness. What you’ll be doing: • Build the deployment platform underneath the product: packaging, configuration, environment validation, upgrade paths, rollback flows, and runtime safeguards. • Own deployability across Kubernetes, cloud, on-prem, and restricted or air-gapped environments. • Design and improve the mechanisms that make the system installable and supportable at scale: Helm charts, deployment manifests, configuration schemas, dependency validation, readiness checks, and operational tooling. • Partner with backend and feature teams to ensure services are production-ready on day 1 and still correct on day 400. • Improve platform resilience: design for partial failure, misconfiguration, restarts, state loss, and degraded environments. • Turn scale and benchmark findings into concrete deployment guidance, sizing recommendations, and supported topologies. • Help evolve the platform from legacy deployment models toward a modern Kubernetes-based operational model. What we need to see: • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in n Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (Courses, Eligibility, Fees & Verified Programs), or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of software engineering experience in platform, infrastructure, runtime, or deployability-focused roles. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and production deployment tooling such as Helm, operators, or GitOps workflows. • Strong programming and automation skills in one or more of Go, Python, Bash, or similar. • Experience shipping software that other organizations install and operate themselves. • Practical experience with distributed systems and production services that fail independently and must remain correct under partial failure. • Strong debugging skills across Linux, networking, containers, and service runtime behavior. • Experience with CI/CD, release engineering, environment validation, or infrastructure-as-code. Ways to stand out from the crowd: • Experience delivering software into on-prem, customer-controlled, or air-gapped environments. • Experience with Kubernetes deployability at scale, including upgrades, rollback, configuration management, and day-2 operations. • Familiarity with telemetry, observability, monitoring, or AI/HPC infrastructure. • Experience turning operational pain points into productized solutions: pre-install validation, deployment standards, support tooling, or automated recovery paths. • A systems mindset: you can move comfortably between code, runtime, infrastructure, and customer reality.
NVIDIA is powering the world's most advanced AI Factories. To ensure their seamless operation, we are building a mission-critical Observability and Prediction platform - delivered as both a high-scale SaaS solution and a robust on-premises deployment for our largest enterprise customers. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the AIOps platform team and help build the core distributed systems that ingest massive telemetry streams from GPU clusters and operationalize predictive AI models at scale. You will work at the intersection of high-performance data engineering and production ML, turning research algorithms into reliable, mission-critical software. What you'll be doing: • Architect and build an agentic AIOps system that autonomously monitors GPU fleet health, aggregates and correlates massive telemetry streams, surfaces intelligent alerts, and orchestrates multi-step diagnostic workflows and corrective actions - powering real-time dashboards, automated root-cause analysis, and proactive incident response. • Research, evaluate, and prototype data storage strategies and data representations across diverse database technologies and modalities, ensuring AI models are trained on high-quality, well-structured data that improves predictive accuracy and generalization. • High-Scale Engineering: Design distributed systems to handle the extreme telemetry density of large-scale AI clusters, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing, and real-time analysis. • Instrument services with deep observability (metrics, logs, traces) to support rapid debugging and continuous performance improvement. • Build and own the model-serving infrastructure that operationalizes predictive algorithms at scale - packaging, versioning, deploying, and monitoring AI models in both SaaS and on-premises environments. • Contribute to the platform's core libraries and abstractions that accelerate development across the broader AIOps engineering team. What we need to see: • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. • 8+ years of software engineering experience building production distributed systems. • Core Systems Programming: Expert-level proficiency in languages such as Go, C++, or Rust, with a focus on high-performance, concurrent architectures. • Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container-based deployments for production services. • Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining ML models or data-intensive services in a production environment. • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the product is still being shaped. Ways to stand out from the crowd: • Experience building ML model-serving platforms or MLOps tooling (model registries, A/B rollout frameworks, feature stores) at scale. • A track record of taking systems from prototype to stable, production-grade platform serving real enterprise customers. • A "Systems" Thinker: You don't just write software; you understand the full stack, from how data moves across the wire to how it’s processed in a distributed cluster. • Practical Innovation: The ability to simplify complex problems and build internal tools or frameworks that empower other engineering teams to move faster. With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us. If you are passionate about building mission-critical systems at the frontier of AI infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
