Senior Software Engineer
Zeroport · Herzliya

Description If you've ever dreamt of being there when it all started, this one's for you. At Zeroport, we're rethinking how humans and AI agents securely access and interact with critical systems. As AI becomes more autonomous, controlling what it can access is no longer enough. We're pioneering Least Agency: limiting what AI agents (and humans) can actually do, and enforcing those boundaries independently through physical containment. Our approach combines purpose-built hardware, robust software, and non-IP connectivity to enable secure, real-time work for both AI agents and humans, without exposing the protected network. It sounds bold, we know. That's exactly the point. Who We Are Zeroport is pioneering Least Agency for AI and human network access. Our hardware-enforced architecture creates physical boundaries between AI agents, human users, and critical systems, limiting what they can reach and do by design. We're a focused, technical team with a strong builder mentality, moving fast to redefine how humans and AI securely interact with the world's most critical systems. About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small, fast-moving team, where engineers own problems end-to-end and work across languages, services, and system boundaries. This role requires more than strong software engineering. We’re looking for someone with strong system and product thinking — someone who can take a high-level need, understand the broader context, challenge assumptions, identify user flows and edge cases, and help shape the right solution before writing the code. AI is deeply integrated into how we build software. We use coding agents daily to plan, develop, review, test, and investigate code, making strong engineering judgment and the ability to critically validate AI-generated work essential. What You’ll Do • Own complex problems from initial need through design, implementation, testing, and production • Turn high-level requirements into well-defined solutions, considering user flows, edge cases, constraints, and expected behavior • Think beyond the immediate task and consider how a feature fits into the broader system and evolves over time • Design and build across multiple parts of the system and technology stack • Make architecture decisions with reliability, security, failure scenarios, upgrades, and backward compatibility in mind • Work daily with AI coding agents to plan, build, investigate, and validate software • Debug complex issues across distributed systems and real-world environments • Research unfamiliar technologies, protocols, and domains and quickly turn findings into working solutions • Collaborate across software, embedded, hardware, security, and infrastructure Requirements What We’re Looking For • 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience • Strong system and product thinking — the ability to understand the problem behind a requirement, define scope, anticipate edge cases and constraints, and make thoughtful decisions about how a solution should work • Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity and drive problems forward without relying on fully defined specifications • Strong system design and architecture skills • Hands-on experience using AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or similar tools, as part of the development workflow • Ability to learn new technologies, languages, and domains quickly • Experience debugging complex or distributed systems • Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including TCP/IP, TLS/mTLS, certificates, PKI, and authentication Nice to Have • Real-time media: WebRTC (ICE/TURN, DTLS), GStreamer, H.264, or remote desktop protocols such as RDP • Identity: SAML, OIDC, LDAP/Active Directory • Security engineering: threat modeling, secure protocol design, PKI and mTLS, code signing and signed updates, Linux hardening, or an offensive security / CTF background • Embedded Linux and hardware interfaces: Yocto, ARM boards, CAN (ISO-TP), UART, HID input, V4L2 video capture • Flutter with native code (FFI, platform channels) or another cross-platform desktop stack • Shipping on-premise or air-gapped software • Building your own AI tooling: agent workflows, skills, MCP servers Why Join Us AI is making ordinary software cheap to produce. Building close to hardware is where the interesting problems are moving: the constraints are real, the feedback is immediate, and there's more to learn than any framework can • Solve challenging problems across software, hardware, networking, security, and AI • Work in an environment where AI is an integral part of how software is built • Take real ownership and have a direct impact on the product and how it evolves • Work with a small, highly technical team building something fundamentally new • Competitive salary and benefits Let's build it together! Even if you don’t meet every requirement - we’d still love to hear from curious, motivated people.

Senior Software Developer — Malware Research Platform
Alice · Ramat Gan

Description Alice is hiring a Senior Software Developer to lead the development of our internal malware research platform. This is a senior, hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of development and delivery. You'll be the technical authority — setting code-quality standards, making the architecture calls, and mentoring the developer team. What makes this role different is who you build for. Our users are our malware researchers, and they use the tool every day. Your job is to sit beside them, learn how they actually work, surface the heuristics and edge cases they carry in their heads, and build agentic tooling that compounds their productivity. The bar isn't "does it ship" — it's "do the researchers reach for it every day." Success is measured in researcher adoption and time saved, not features merged. Agentic workflows are core to how we build. You should be fluent using them and confident designing systems where agents run in production — with clear judgment about where an agent earns its keep versus where deterministic code or a human-in-the-loop is the right call. What You'll Do Lead development and delivery • Own technical execution end-to-end: implementation, code review, and release. • Translate research workflows and feature requests into well-scoped tasks with realistic, risk-aware estimates the team can plan against. • Manage day-to-day execution: unblock people, sequence work, catch problems early. • Set and defend the technical bar: review rigor, testing discipline, documentation, architectural consistency. Partner with the researchers — and amplify them • Embed with malware researchers to understand their workflow and capture the tacit knowledge and edge cases no spec ever wrote down. • Translate that knowledge into reliable agentic tooling — and know when an agent is confidently wrong before it ever reaches a researcher. • Spend roughly 5–10% of your time doing actual malware research (with structured onboarding) to stay close to how the tool is used. • Be willing to tell a researcher when a proposed workflow won't automate well — and explain why. Be the technical authority and mentor • Make the hard architecture and design trade-off calls. • Mentor through code review, pairing, and design discussions. Raise the level of everyone around you. • Dive deep on the critical, difficult features and bug fixes yourself. • Design agentic workflows into the architecture from the start, and build the evaluations and guardrails that keep them trustworthy. Requirements Must-have • 5+ years of software development experience, with a track record of delivering products to production — not just prototypes or POCs. • Strong Python, including async (asyncio), modern typing, and a disciplined testing approach (pytest). • Hands-on Playwright experience in production — not one-off scripts. • Production experience with agentic workflows: building, deploying, and operating LLM-powered systems that plan, call tools, and execute multi-step tasks — using a modern agent framework (e.g., LangGraph, the Anthropic Claude Agent SDK, the OpenAI Agents SDK, or DSPy). • Experience building evaluations and guardrails to measure agent quality and catch regressions before they reach a user (e.g., MLflow GenAI evaluation & tracing, LangSmith, or Braintrust). • Proven experience leading development efforts: estimation, task breakdown, code review, and mentoring. • Experience building tools used internally by expert users (vs. external end-user products), or a clear instinct for the difference. Nice to have • Background in cybersecurity, malware research, threat intelligence, or an adjacent security domain. • Experience with reverse-engineering tools, sandboxes, or malware-analysis pipelines. • RAG and retrieval pipelines (indexing, reranking, grounding) and a vector store (e.g., pgvector). • Cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), containers (Docker), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Grafana / Coralogix or equivalent). About Alice Alice is a trust, safety, and security company built for the AI era. We safeguard the communicative technologies people use to create, collaborate, and interact- whether with each other or with machines. In a world where AI has fundamentally changed the nature of risk, Alice provides end-to-end coverage across the entire AI lifecycle. We support frontier model labs, enterprises, and UGC platforms with a comprehensive suite of solutions: from model hardening evaluations and pre-deployment red-teaming to runtime guardrails and ongoing drift detection. Alice is widely considered a global leader in online safety and AI security. We have some of the most forward-thinking and passionate minds in the world working to safeguard over 3 billion users across the largest AI and tech platforms. If you're creative and driven to secure the future of AI, we want to hear from you!

G
Senior Software Engineer — AI Engineering
GrowthSpace · Tel Aviv-Yafo

We're looking for a software engineer with a genuine passion for AI, someone who doesn't just use the new tools because they have to, but because they can't help it. The kind of engineer who tries a new model the week it comes out, investigates how things work under the hood, and gets real joy from discovering what's suddenly possible that wasn't last month. This is a senior individual contributor role with real leadership expectations. You will own a domain end to end, from a raw product idea through architecture, implementation, and production health. You will set its technical direction and be the person others turn to about it. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with product, and we expect you to push back, challenge specs, and drive the business need behind a feature, not just its implementation. What you'll do Own your domain: design, develop, and operate backend services and core system components in production (our stack: Node.js and TypeScript over PostgreSQL) - and take responsibility for their direction, quality, and evolution. Lead initiatives from ideation to production: identify opportunities, shape the solution, rally the people involved, and see it through. Build and productize AI-powered features: agents, assistants, and automation workflows that real customers rely on. Design agent creation and orchestration - multi-step flows, tool/function calling, state management, guardrails, and fallbacks for when the model gets it wrong. Craft and refine prompts and retrieval pipelines, and evaluate their quality systematically rather than by gut feeling. Collaborate deeply with product: translate ambiguous business needs into a sound technical shape, scope the right MVP, and connect every technical decision to user value. Use AI coding tools fluently in daily development - while remaining the engineer of record for everything that ships. Review code, human- and AI-written, with a sharp eye for correctness, security, and long-term maintainability. Bring creative solutions: run POCs, explore new models, tools, and paradigms, and turn the promising ones into practice for the whole team. Mentor other engineers through technical guidance. Requirements 5+ years of experience in backend software development. A structured, methodical approach to prompt engineering and AI-assisted development — iterating deliberately and measuring output quality. Strong background in working with relational databases and data modeling in production systems. Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production — model APIs, structured outputs, and creating or orchestrating agents and multi-step workflows, including handling failure modes, latency, and cost. Not only experiments. Strong background in distributed systems and system design; solid grasp of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure), and willingness to expand knowledge as needed. Advantages Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript. Experience with RAG systems — chunking strategies, embeddings, vector search, retrieval quality tuning. Experience with formal LLM evaluation frameworks — building eval sets, regression testing for prompts, automated quality metrics. Multi-tenant SaaS experience, or deep third-party API integration experience (webhooks, idempotency, rate limits). Experience with Angular 17+ or other modern frontend frameworks, and motivation to contribute beyond backend. Who you are A leader without needing the title: you take initiative, create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, and move things forward without waiting to be asked. An owner: you care about your domain and stand behind what ships from it — including the parts an AI helped write. A strong communicator: you can defend a technical decision to a PM, explain a tradeoff to leadership, and change your mind when the better argument wins. Business-minded: you see the bigger picture and push for what the business actually needs, even when it's not what the ticket says. Creative and curious: an autodidact who enjoys learning new domains and finds unconventional paths to solve hard problems. Team-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about building things and getting them into production. English at a professional level, B2 or higher.
