The Open Studio is all settled into our new location on HaPalmach in Katamon and we are pleased to announce our Chugim for the 2016-7 school year. While we focus on a different art form each month, children are also given the freedom to design their own creative experiences & projects, explore, tinker & create in an English immersion environment. Mondays 15.00-16.00 pick up from Evelina school available,Tuesdays 14.30-15.30, Wednesdays 17.45-18.45, Thursdays 17.00-18.00 Painting & Drawing We will focus on the fundamental elements of design in drawing & painting: light & shadow, composition, texture, line and color and learning how to look and represent the world around us. Mondays 16.30-17.30 Sculpture We will explore various forms of 3 Dimensional art including Mosaics, sculpting with wood, paper mache, wire, plaster of paris & more. Wednesdays 17.45-18.45 Fizz, Pop, Bang: The Science of Art Last year's most popular chug is back! Here we will explore what happens when art meets science. We will learn about mixtures, solutions, absorption, magnetism, gravity, temperature, and more in this STEAM inspired weekly workshop.Tuesdays 15.30-16.30 possible pick up from Yehuda HaLevi school available English through Baking & Art Children cook their way through the English alphabet while learning to appreciate eating healthy food. Children will learn how to form and read letters, identify sounds and sort by word families and blends. Children will create their own alphabet book... Sundays 15.00-16.00 & Tuesdays 16:30-17:30 Open Studio Masters NEW! Open Studio alumni will have the opportunity to learn more advanced skills
