Clinical Solutions Specialist, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC)- Southeast
GE HealthCare · Remote

Job Description Summary The Clinical Solutions Specialist, ASC is a customer-facing sales role responsible for growing product penetration within Electrophysiology (EP)-focused Ambulatory Surgery Centers — both existing accounts and net-new (de novo) ASCs in planning or development. This role uses deep Cath/EP lab clinical credibility to build trust with clinical stakeholders and drive account growth across the portfolio, from initial clinical engagement through post-install adoption. The Clinical Solutions Specialist owns the clinical sales relationship pre- and post-install and is measured on order growth and account penetration within an assigned ASC territory, working in direct partnership with the GE HealthCare ASC team and the expanded Segment teams. Jobs at this level operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined commercial policies and review of end results. Responsible for a defined ASC account base within a region, spanning both established centers and de novo centers under development. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Account Growth & Sales Ownership (primary focus) • Own growth targets across an assigned book of EP ASC accounts, including both existing centers and net-new (de novo) ASCs in planning or development, expanding product and solution adoption over time. • Engage early with de novo ASCs under consideration, providing clinical and workflow input that shapes the account's initial equipment and modality decisions. • Identify opportunities within existing accounts and develop them into qualified sales opportunities, in partnership with the ASC Development Leader. • Build the clinical value case — grounded in workflow fit, procedural efficiency, and outcomes — that supports purchasing decisions with physicians, administrators, and clinical staff. • Partner with the ASC Development Leader on account planning and sales forecasting for the assigned territory, across both established and de novo centers. • Lead the clinical elements of the sales process — needs assessment, clinical demonstrations, workflow evaluation, and objection handling with clinical stakeholders. Post-Install Adoption • Drive adoption and utilization of newly purchased solutions to support long-term account growth and customer satisfaction. • Work closely with the segment clinical applications teams to serve as the clinical connector after go-live, resolving workflow issues to protect the account relationship. • Track utilization and clinical outcomes to support future account planning and sales conversations. Clinical Credibility & Relationship Building • Establish and maintain credibility with Cath/EP lab nurses, techs, and physicians as a peer with hands-on clinical experience. • Develop relationships with key clinical stakeholders and opinion leaders within assigned ASC accounts to support both expansion sales and reference activity. • Represent the voice of the clinical customer in account strategy discussions with the ASC and Account Teams. Sales Enablement & Market Support • Support trade shows, regional events, and reference site visits with clinical demonstrations. • Share clinical and procedural trend insights with the account team to support territory and account planning. • Provide field feedback to sales leadership and product teams on adoption trends and competitive dynamics. Required Qualifications • Active or former hands-on clinical experience in a Cath Lab or EP Lab setting (RN, RCIS, RCES, or Lead Technologist background) strongly preferred. • Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for a sales-accountable role, including comfort being measured on order growth and expansion targets, not just clinical support metrics. • For roles in the USA – Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant clinical and/or clinical sales experience). • Willingness to travel within an assigned ASC territory as required to support active expansion opportunities and post-install adoption. • Ability to travel 60% of the time. Desired Characteristics • Prior experience in a clinical sales, clinical liaison, or field clinical specialist role within medtech, with direct or indirect accountability for revenue or expansion outcomes. • Familiarity with ASC business models and the economics of procedural volume and modality mix. • Strong oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to move a clinical conversation toward a commercial outcome. • Established ability to prioritize a territory and account list based on expansion potential rather than treating all accounts equally. #LI-KC1 We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
