Shalom! I'm Lorelai Kude, a syndicated Astrology columnist, scholar, educator & practitioner. I work with individuals, couples, parents, families and groups to help others learn about themselves through the lens of our Jewish astrological symbols, archetypes, and traditions. I offer the gift of enriched understanding and self-awareness delivered via the tools of our mesora. I work via Zoom with people all over the world. Our private sessions are recorded for you to download and keep, along with the chart(s) we'll look at during our meeting. My background: I hold a BA in Journalism with a Minor in Religious Studies from San Francisco State University & an MA in Jewish Studies from Berkeley’s Graduate Theological Union. My thesis “Yesh Mazal l’Yisrael: Astrology in Jewish Cultural History and Identity” explores the rabbinic enterprise’s institutionalization of astrology, despite the legal prohibition against its use in divination. I've been professional practicing astrologer for over 30 years (concurrent with my multifaceted media career!) and a teacher/ mentor of private astrology students.
