Hi. I am a South African ex-pat living in Jerusalem. I do photography and prefer to offer my services as a documentary (journalistic) photographer; although I can also do great weddings, all Jewish functions, and any family gatherings you might want to document. I take around 2/300 NIS for a short 1/2 hour function, and we can bargain for anything longer (mostly under US $100-200). For example - I would love to join a family on an Israel trip or a family Barmitzva gathering, and document the event or their stay here. I prefer working with a DSLR (stills photography) but I can bring a video camera along if necessary. I edit pictures myself, improve them if necessary and put all the materials on a disc. See some of my work, just a taster...These are mostly taken with a cheap mobile, but it gives you an idea of the way I see things.
