About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team! In this role, you'll work on large-scale distributed systems, lead backend development initiatives, and play a key role in the company's cloud transformation, modernizing existing platforms and building scalable, cloud-native solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services. Lead technical initiatives across core payment systems. Build and modernize distributed systems using Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture. Develop cloud-native solutions as part of a large-scale cloud transformation. Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with Architecture, Product, Security, and Operations teams. Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality. Requirements 6+ years of backend development experience with C# and/or Node.js. 6+ years of experience with SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL). 6+ years of experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB. Experience developing cloud-based SaaS platforms. Hands-on experience with Docker/Containers and Kubernetes. Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture. Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS. Experience integrating AI tools into software development workflows. B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
