The Product Validation department is looking for a Validation Engineer. Our department is responsible for delivering high-quality ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) products. We are the first line of support for Mobileye’s customers around the globe, and as our Validation Engineer, you will interact with most of Mobileye’s departments to achieve Mobileye’s goals. What will your job look like: • Perform system-level validation of embedded systems, covering both hardware and software, with a strong focus on functional testing • Design and maintain test environments, including lab setups, test systems, and configurations. • Write and execute test plans and test cases based on system requirements, including manual and automated tests. • Conduct hands-on debugging and integration of hardware and software systems in a laboratory environment. • Validate communication protocols and system interfaces, and perform hardware bring-up and integration testing. • Install and support debug systems and sensors on development vehicles and assist automotive customers during integration. All you need is: • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Communications Systems Engineering (or an equivalent field). • 2-5 years of experience in integration or validation. • Proven experience with embedded systems testing. • Hands-on experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins. • Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems. • Working knowledge of Python, including experience debugging Python code. • Experience with networking \ communication interfaces and protocols. • Experience in test infrastructures, lab environments, and test setups. • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. • Strong teamwork abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills. • Familiarity with defect tracking and validation tools (e.g., Jira) -an advantage. • Fluent in English and Hebrew. As a Validation Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our state-of-the-art quantum control systems. You will design, develop, and execute validation plans for complex hardware-software systems, contributing directly to the advancement of quantum technologies. This role is ideal for engineers with good programming skills, a strong technical culture, and a passion for working at the intersection of software, hardware, and quantum science. Location: Israel / Germany (based on candidate location). Main Responsibilities: · Design and Implement Validation Methods: Design, implement and execute comprehensive validation test plans for our quantum control platforms and solutions · Automated Tests and Automation Frameworks: Contribute to the development of automated testing infrastructures to streamline validation processes and implement system tests based on the defined test plans · AI/ LLM Tools: Apply AI/LLM tools to accelerate test code generation and continuously improve the validation toolchain, driving measurable gains in engineering productivity · Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and document data from system tests/experiments to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement · System Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, reproduce, and analyze issues across system components with other engineering teams · Collaborate Across Teams: Collaborate closely with R&D and product teams to define test coverage and quality acceptance criteria · Release & Quality Assurance Process: Participate in regression testing and CI/CD for new feature rollouts and product releases · Maintain and Improve Test Setups: Oversee the setup, calibration, and enhancement of test equipment and environments Requirements Key Requirements: • M.Sc./PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. – Must • 3+ years of professional experience with Python or other high level programming language - Must • Deep understanding of hardware-software system architecture and debugging- Must • Excellent problem-solving, team-player and communication skills- Must • Experience using AI tools to accelerate test development — e.g., leveraging LLM-based coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to generate and maintain test code, scripts, and validation tooling.
