Application Security Engineer
Sunbit · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description At Sunbit, we're building financial technology that puts people first. By combining intelligent decisioning with a personalized, transparent approach, we help consumers access the payment options that are right for them while empowering merchants to build stronger customer relationships. Engineering is at the heart of how we make that happen. We build scalable distributed systems, cloud-native services, intelligent data platforms, and AI-powered solutions that enable real-time financial decisions at scale. By leveraging modern engineering practices and integrating AI into both our products and development workflows, we solve complex technical challenges, accelerate innovation, and continuously improve the way we build software. Every service, model, and architectural decision we make directly impacts our products, our customers, and the future of financial technology. About the Role We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team. You will take ownership of strengthening security across Sunbit’s products, services, and development lifecycle. This includes identifying and addressing security gaps in application architecture and code, APIs and service-to-service communication, authentication and authorization flows, open source dependencies and third-party libraries, CI/CD pipelines and build systems, secrets handling, and AI-powered product features. As a Security Engineer at Sunbit, you will dig into how our systems actually work, understand where the real risk is, and decide what needs to be built to close it. Some problems are solved by changing an architecture or a design pattern, others by implementing a new control, embedding a security gate into the pipeline, integrating and tailoring a security platform, or writing something from scratch. You will own that decision and the implementation that follows. The Security Engineering team works as a group of all-rounders. Alongside your core focus, you will contribute to cloud and infrastructure security, corporate IT security, detection engineering, incident response, and our growing AI security work, both securing AI workloads and using AI to make our own security capabilities better. What You Will Work On • Identify security gaps across Sunbit’s applications, services, and development lifecycle, then translate them into practical technical solutions. • Design and implement scalable security controls that address root causes and fit our architecture and engineering practices. • Review architectures and designs, run threat modeling, and guide R&D teams toward secure patterns before code is written. • Secure APIs, authentication and authorization flows, service-to-service trust, data handling, and multi-tenant boundaries. • Own the secure development lifecycle end to end, including security gates in GitHub Actions, SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and dependency and supply chain risk. • Build reusable security capabilities, libraries, paved-road patterns, and developer-facing tooling that make the secure path the default path. • Build custom AI agents and AI-powered capabilities that improve our security tools, workflows, visibility, and control. • Understand and secure AI-powered product features, including their data access, identities, permissions, integrations, and runtime behavior. • Partner with R&D, DevOps, Infrastructure, Data, AI, and IT teams from initial analysis through implementation, adoption, and validation. Requirements • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in application security, product security, security engineering, DevSecOps, or a related field. • Strong experience securing production applications and services, including APIs, microservices, and cloud-native workloads on AWS and Kubernetes. • Proven ability to identify security gaps, design appropriate controls, and take solutions through implementation. • Hands-on experience with secure code review, threat modeling, API security, and common vulnerability classes in modern application stacks. • Practical experience embedding security into CI/CD and GitOps workflows, including GitHub Actions, SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning. • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization, session management, secrets management, cryptography in practice, TLS, SSO, SAML, and OIDC. • Ability to read and write code in at least one modern language, and enough engineering depth to work as a peer to developers. • A broad security mindset, strong engineering judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams. Nice to Have • Experience building AI agents, LLM-based tools, or AI-powered security capabilities. • Experience assessing or securing AI workloads, including data exposure, prompt injection, agent permissions, and third-party integrations. • Experience with ASPM platforms, WAF, bot and abuse prevention, or runtime application protection. • Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure security, Terraform, policy as code, and container security. • Offensive security background, such as penetration testing, bug bounty, or exploit development. • Experience working in a regulated fintech or financial services environment. Recruitment Fraud Disclaimer We’ve been made aware of fraudsters impersonating Sunbit employees during the hiring process. Please note that all official communication will come from an @sunbit.com email address, through our applicant tracking platform @sunbit.comeet-notifications.com or directly via LinkedIn. Senior Security Engineer, Detection and Response
Paxos · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Applying to Paxos? Our only careers site is paxos.com/careers, and we only recruit via @paxos.com email. Details below. ___ About Paxos Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it. We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world's leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard, Interactive Brokers and Charles Schwab. About the team The Security team at Paxos protects the cloud infrastructure, crypto systems, endpoints, and network that our regulated financial platform runs on. You'll join the Detection and Response function, working alongside our 24x7 SOC, which handles first-line triage, and partnering with Product Security teams to validate that our coverage holds up against real attacker techniques. About the role The Senior Detection and Response Engineer at Paxos serves as a builder of the detections, hunts, and automations that protect our cloud infrastructure, crypto systems, endpoints, and network. You will write detections as code and automate response, and act as a purple teamer, emulating attacks alongside our Product Security teams to confirm our detections work. Our 24x7 SOC handles first-line triage, so your focus is the detection engineering, threat hunting, and validation that make our coverage effective. Strong hands-on investigation skills are expected, but they support this work rather than define it. What you'll do • Detection Coverage & Quality: Ship production-grade detections as code with measurable signal improvements—reducing false positives and closing gaps identified in purple team exercises. • Validated Defenses: Run purple team exercises with other teams to confirm detection effectiveness and identify blind spots. • Threat Hunting Program: Execute proactive hunts based on threat intelligence and convert findings into new detections and documented IOCs/TTPs. • Operational Efficiency: Build automations to accelerate investigation and triage; create and maintain runbooks and incident write-ups that make response consistent and repeatable across the team. • Detection Stack: Identify gaps and integrate best-in-class tools that increase team effectiveness and visibility across endpoints, cloud, network, and signing systems. About you • You bring 5-8+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, offensive security testing, or a related security engineering role — with a track record of scope growth, not just years. • You independently own complex, ambiguous, or multi-stage incidents from initial triage through containment, eradication, and recovery — making the call in the moment and building or improving the runbook afterward, rather than waiting for one to exist. • You bring deep, hands-on expertise in SIEM and EDR platforms, can design new detections from scratch, own detection strategy for a significant surface area, and meaningfully reduce false-positive rates across a rule set you own. • You can design and run purple-team exercises in partnership with other engineering teams, emulating real attacker techniques and using the findings to reshape the detection roadmap rather than just confirm what already works. • You have a strong point of view on what tools and architecture the team should invest in, not just how to use what's already there, and you make credible build-vs-buy calls. • You think like a builder and continuously find ways to automate repetitive security workflows, applying AI thoughtfully to improve the speed, consistency, and scale of investigation and response across the team. • You produce original threat intelligence assessments and run proactive threat hunts based on hypotheses, translating findings directly into new detections and a stronger detection roadmap. • You communicate fluently with engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders during major incidents, and your docs and retros shape team direction, not just record what happened. • You actively mentor junior members of the team, serve as a trusted technical escalation point, and have a track record of measurably accelerating others' growth. • You're comfortable participating in an on-call rotation and can act as incident commander when needed — driving structural fixes that prevent a class of incidents from recurring, not just one instance. Important Notice for Paxos Applicants Fraudulent accounts sometimes pose as Paxos recruiters on LinkedIn and other platforms, and fake websites sometimes impersonate our careers site. These scammers attempt to deceive applicants into paying for job opportunities or providing personal financial information. To verify a legitimate Paxos opportunity: • Our only official careers site is paxos.com/careers • We only use @paxos.com email addresses • We never ask for payment or financial details to apply, interview, or work here • For technical roles, we do not perform a coding interview without prior screening by our engineering team Thanks for your interest in Paxos!

AI Security Engineer
Cross River · Jerusalem

Description We are At Cross River, we're building the financial infrastructure that powers global innovation. With our cutting-edge suite of embedded payments, cards, and lending solutions, we enable millions of businesses and consumers to transact seamlessly and securely. With 900+ employees worldwide and an R&D center of over 160 employees in Jerusalem - we’re reshaping how financial technology is developed and delivered. . The Role As AI capabilities accelerate across the bank, we need an engineer to design and enforce safe AI usage—protecting customer data, preserving model integrity, and meeting our regulatory obligations. You'll be the architect of guardrails, tooling, and policies that make AI both secure and useful for product and internal teams. This isn't about slowing things down; it's about building the trust layer that lets innovation move fast without breaking things. Who You Are You're a security engineer who's excited about the AI wave—someone who sees LLMs and Agentic AI as fascinating puzzles to secure, not just threats to mitigate. You've spent 5+ years in Security Engineering, AppSec, or Cloud Security, and at least 1–2 of those years have been spent getting your hands dirty with LLMs, AI Agents and MCPs. You understand how agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and similar) orchestrate multi-step tool use—and where trust boundaries break down. You've assessed or secured AI-powered coding agents (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and understand the unique risks of AI with filesystem, terminal, and API access in developer environments. You're equally comfortable dissecting a prompt injection attack as you are writing a Terraform module or shipping a Python library. You know your way around AWS and/or Azure, modern app stacks (Python/TypeScript, REST/gRPC, containers/Kubernetes), and can translate security requirements into developer-friendly tooling—not just PDF policies that gather dust. You communicate clearly in English and Hebrew, thrive in regulated environments, and understand that security in financial services means mapping controls to frameworks like FFIEC, SOC 2, and PCI DSS—and actually having the evidence to prove it. What You’ll Actually Be Doing • Design enterprise AI guardrails across Azure and AWS (e.g., Azure AI Studio/Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock/SageMaker): content filtering, PII redaction, prompt/response validation, and policy enforcement services. • Assess and define secure usage patterns and data governance controls for agentic frameworks and coding agents: permission scoping, tool-call authorization, least‐privileged retrieval, session isolation, and MCP server governance. • Threat model AI systems (apps, agents, MCPs, RAG, fine-tuning pipelines) using frameworks like STRIDE and the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Apps; define misuse scenarios (prompt injection/context poisoning/jailbreaks/data exfiltration) and build mitigations. • Build monitoring and telemetry: privacy-preserving prompt/response logging, sensitive-data detection, safety/eval dashboards, drift/abuse signals, and incident hooks into our SIEM. • Integrate AI security into the SDLC: reusable libraries, pre-commit checks, CI/CD gates, policy-as-code, and secure-by-default reference architectures for product teams. • Evaluate third‑party AI vendors and internal apps: security reviews, data residency and retention requirements, SSO/SCIM integrations, DPA/TPRM inputs, and continuous control testing. • Partner across Security, Data, Privacy, and Engineering to map AI controls to FFIEC, SOC 2, and PCI DSS; document control evidence for audits. • Lead/participate in AI red‑teaming: automated jailbreak/prompt‑injection tests, safety benchmarks, purple‑team exercises, and response playbooks for AI incidents. • Enable the org with concise guidelines, examples, and training on safe AI development and usage. Requirements What You Bring to the Table • 5+ years in Security Engineering/AppSec/Cloud Security (or similar), including 1–2+ years securing AI/ML or data‑intensive systems (GenAI preferred). • Hands‑on experience with AWS and/or Azure and modern app stacks (Python/TypeScript, REST/gRPC, containers/Kubernetes, IaC such as Terraform). • Practical understanding of LLM attack surfaces (prompt injection, context and goal poisoning, data leakage via tools, training/fine‑tune poisoning, model supply chain) and mitigation patterns. • Experience assessing agentic architectures (LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar) and AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for secure enterprise deployment. • Familiarity with identity and access for AI workloads (OAuth2/OIDC, service principals, role tokens, PIM), and secure secret management/KMS. • Experience implementing observability/telemetry and routing findings to SIEM; comfort balancing privacy with traceability. • Ability to translate controls into developer-friendly libraries, docs, and CI/CD checks. • Comfort working in a regulated environment and mapping controls to frameworks (FFIEC, SOC 2, PCI DSS). • Strong written communication in English and Hebrew. Nice to have • Financial services background or other high‑assurance domains. • Exposure to Duende IdentityServer, SSO/SCIM, and enterprise authorization patterns. • Familiarity with guardrail tooling (e.g., Azure AI Safety features, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails) and policy engines (OPA/Rego). • Prior work in AI red‑teaming or safety evaluation harnesses; contributions to OSS or published talks. Why You’ll Love Working Here • Flexible hybrid work model: three days a week at our Jerusalem office • Monthly wellness reimbursement – from therapy to gel manicure, it's up to you • Full Keren Hishtalmut, private health and dental insurance • Volunteer days, donation matching, Yoga and Pilates • A supportive, collaborative culture that puts our people first Next Step Hit Apply!

Senior IT Enterprise Security Engineer
Nvidia · Yokneam

NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding IT Engineer to join our Enterprise Security Team. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants to build, automate, and operate the identity platforms that secure NVIDIA — and who is excited about using AI to make our infrastructure more visible, more stable, and easier for our users to work with. You will operate, automate, and maintain our Identity and Directory platforms, and implement the capabilities that move us toward a Zero Trust future. You will work day-to-day with IT, Cybersecurity, and business technologists to deliver on our IAM roadmap and keep our hybrid identity environment secure, simple, and stable. Do you want the opportunity to build an extraordinary user experience that delivers on both securing our company and enabling our company to move at the speed of light? What you'll be doing: • Be a key member of the Global Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, with a focus on Active Directory and Entra ID. • Operate and continuously improve our hybrid AD/Entra ID environment with a focus on security, simplicity, and stability — including upgrades, incidents, and third-party integrations. • Implement identity security capabilities that support NVIDIA's enterprise Zero Trust architecture, including SSO, conditional access, MFA, and privileged access. • Build automation and agentic workflows for identity lifecycle, access requests, directory hygiene, and service account governance — reducing manual toil and improving the end-user experience. • Implement identity and access controls for agentic and non-human identities (NHI) — service accounts, workload identities, machine credentials, and AI agents — covering provisioning, scoping, credential rotation, and lifecycle cleanup. • Apply AI tooling to improve infrastructure visibility and stability: telemetry, health checks, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted diagnostics that surface issues before users report them and give end users faster, self-service resolution. What we need to see: • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Active Directory experience and 2+ years with Entra ID / Azure AD in a hybrid environment. • Solid understanding of core IAM concepts: single sign-on, multifactor authentication, conditional access, federation, privileged account management, secrets and password vaulting, and Zero Trust principles. • Hands-on scripting and automation skills in PowerShell or similar, plus practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day engineering work. • A strong security mentality, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. • Excellent interpersonal skills and hands-on experience collaborating with global teams.
