As NextSilicon’s in house commercial legal counsel, you will report directly to the General Counsel and take broad ownership of the company’s commercial legal matters. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and collaborate closely with sales, business development, operations, finance, and engineering. You will lead complex commercial and strategic transactions, including agreements with government and public sector customers, neo cloud and other customers, partners, integrators, and suppliers. You will advise on technology licensing, compliance, and policies, and on NextSilicon’s international operations. Working with a high degree of independence, you will also coordinate external counsel and legal advisors in Israel, the United States, and other jurisdictions. This role is ideal for an experienced technology lawyer who thrives in a fast moving environment, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and can translate sophisticated legal issues into clear, practical, and actionable business guidance. Requirements • 6 or more years of experience as a legal counsel, ideally in house within a technology company, with a strong preference for the chip industry or deep tech. • Strong experience in commercial law, technology transactions, and licensing, with a proven track record leading and negotiating complex agreements. • Hands on experience working with AI tools (such as Claude or other generative AI platforms) to improve legal work, including contract review, drafting, and research, with sound judgment on confidentiality and accuracy. • Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior management and influence decision making. • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to develop long term plans. • KPI oriented approach to managing legal processes and contributing to business success. • Excellent written and spoken English. Other languages are an advantage. • Proactive, solution oriented approach with excellent analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial and technology agreements, including customer, supplier, vendor, system integrator, channel partner, inbound and outbound licensing, cloud, data, consulting, and confidentiality agreements. • Manage and coordinate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders. • Lead agreements with government and public sector customers, national labs, and neo cloud and other cloud customers, including procurement terms and security and compliance requirements. • Structure and negotiate business collaborations, including MOUs, joint development, and strategic partnerships. • Establish and maintain scalable legal processes, policies, templates, and approval frameworks that support the company’s rapid growth, and oversee their implementation and enforcement. • Support compliance matters, including privacy, data protection, AI related regulation, and international business requirements. • Advise on the use of open source software and maintain the open source compliance list. • Provide practical, timely legal advice to business teams, identifying risks and proposing pragmatic solutions that enable the business to move forward. • Use AI tools to streamline legal workflows and build AI enabled processes for the legal team.

Description Deloitte Israel is seeking an experienced attorney with a strong business and technology orientation to join our Legal and Risk Management team as a Legal Counsel and Risk Manager – Commercial & Technology, serving as a key partner in supporting the firm’s business activities. This role involves advising on complex transactions and engagements, negotiating commercial agreements, and providing practical legal counsel and risk management guidance in a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment. Requirements Qualifications and Experience • Attorney-at-law qualified in Israel and a member of the Israel Bar Association. • LL.B. degree from a recognized leading academic institution. • Experience and/or ability to work with AI tools - mandatory. • An additional degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field is a significant advantage. • Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience at a leading commercial law firm in the commercial or high-tech sector and/or in the legal department of a technology company. • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, including services agreements, SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, partnership agreements, supplier agreements, and customer agreements. • Excellent English skills, including legal drafting and contract negotiation. • Strong legal drafting and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player. • Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, creativity, attention to detail, and accuracy. • Initiative, personal accountability, and the ability to lead processes and drive outcomes. • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong service orientation. • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). • Openness to innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies and AI tools in legal practice. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Legal team and looking for an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join us. In this role, you will support complex global commercial activities, partner closely with business teams, and take an active role in a wide range of legal matters. The role reports to the VP Legal. What will your job look like: • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with global customers. • Lead commercial negotiations with global vendors, partners, and service providers. • Provide practical legal advice on a broad range of commercial and business matters. • Advise on applicable local and international laws and regulatory requirements. • Develop and implement internal legal and compliance processes and procedures. • Lead cross-functional in-house legal projects and work closely with business stakeholders All you need is: • LL.B. from a leading academic institution. • Approximately 8 years of relevant experience as in-house counsel in a high-tech company and/or in the commercial/high-tech practice of a leading law firm. • Substantial experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements in a global environment, including licensing, data licensing, distribution, procurement, data privacy, and intellectual property matters. • Strong business orientation, with the ability to understand business needs, assess legal risks, and provide practical solutions. • Experience working closely with business teams and multiple stakeholders in a global environment. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • A collaborative, team-oriented approach. • Fluent English and Hebrew Mobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles.
