Head of Research
Dash Security · Tel Aviv-Yafo

About Dash Security Dash Security is building the security layer for the agentic enterprise - so teams can let AI run, securely. Enterprises are adopting AI agents across coding and productivity tools running in SaaS, cloud, and endpoints, and traditional security stacks don't work where agents interpret instructions, plan, and act at runtime. Dash discovers every agent, MCP server, skill, and interaction; captures full agentic sessions end to end; and observes, governs, and acts across every agent and interaction, everywhere they run - instantly. We exist to close the agent security gap with intent-aware runtime protection that scales with enterprise AI adoption. Dash is well funded and with co-founders that combine serial entrepreneurship with enterprise experience having built market-leading products and businesses at Akamai and Palo Alto Networks. Role Overview We are seeking a Head of Research to build and lead Dash's research group reporting to the Co-founder and CTO. You'll set the research agenda for how AI agents, spanning coding agents, SaaS AI platforms, cloud, and endpoints, can be abused, and you'll turn that research into the detections and runtime protections that define Dash's product. You'll build the team, the threat intelligence function, and the processes that keep Dash ahead of a threat landscape that changes weekly. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll still go deep on platforms and attack paths while scaling research into a core differentiator of the company. You will help define the field of Agentic Security and be one of its leading voices. Responsibilities Lead and grow the research team: Hire, mentor, and manage AI security researchers. Build a culture of rigor, speed, and ownership. Own the research direction: Proactively identify emerging agentic threats and platforms, prioritize research projects, and set a roadmap aligned with product and customer needs. Build threat intelligence processes: Establish how Dash collects, triages, and operationalizes threat intelligence on agentic attacks. This includes in-the-wild abuse, malicious MCP servers, skills and extensions, and new techniques from the research community. Drive research into product: Partner closely with engineering and product so findings become production detections, runtime policies, and governance capabilities. Own the coverage and quality of Dash's detection logic. Define detection strategy: Set standards for detection logic across environments, including coverage models, efficacy measurement, and false positive and false negative management at enterprise scale. Stay hands-on: Lead deep dives into platform architectures, monitoring and enforcement boundaries, and end-to-end PoCs for the most critical attack paths. Represent Dash externally: Publish research, advisories, and vulnerability disclosures. Speak at leading security conferences and build Dash's reputation as the authority on agentic security. Support customers and the field: Provide research expertise for customer engagements, incident investigations, and strategic accounts. Qualifications BSc./MSc. in Computer Science, Security, or equivalent military/industry experience. 8+ years of security research (AI Security, AppSec, Malware Research, Endpoint Security, or Adversarial AI), including 3+ years leading a research team. Proven experience building threat intelligence or research processes from the ground up. Track record of proactively setting research direction and staying ahead of emerging threats. Public research record, such as vulnerability disclosures, CVEs, publications, or talks at major security conferences - an advantage. Deep familiarity with AI and agent attack surfaces, including prompt injection, tool and MCP abuse, agent hijacking, and data exfiltration. Hands-on experience with coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) is a must, including practical use of MCP servers, Skills, hooks, and similar agent tooling. Demonstrated ability to work closely with product and engineering to productize research into differentiated security outcomes and market-leading products. Strong grasp of cloud, SaaS, and endpoint security models, especially identity and data access. Proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript or Go is a plus. Startup experience is a strong plus.

Ask-AI · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description About Us Mosaic AI is the only enterprise AI platform built for technical support in highly configurable, multi-product companies. We unify the customer, product, and support context scattered across a company’s systems, then act on it across the case lifecycle: automating what we can, escalating to a human expert when it matters. Built on 100+ deep integrations, the platform runs products already live in production, including Self-Service, Knowledge, Triage, Assist, Intelligence, Alerting, and QA, all sharing one foundation so they ship fast and improve as the platform grows. That shared foundation makes this an exciting, unusual place to build. Each product we launch would have been an entire company in the pre-AI era; for us, it’s a focused product on common infrastructure, so each deployment builds on the last. Our no-code Agent Builder lets teams design and deploy agents with governance and traceability, while our Customer Context Model routes recurring issues and account risk to the teams that can fix them. Every deployment lowers our customers’ cost to serve. We’re hiring engineers and product leaders who want to build systems that get more capable the more they run. About the Role Mosaic builds the AI platform that technical support teams run on. Our agents, retrieval, and reasoning sit at the core of how customer-facing teams answer questions, resolve cases, and surface insights. The depth and reliability of that AI is the product. You’ll start with an active research roadmap,, from self-improving evaluation infrastructure to agentic RAG to multimodality. You’ll work with a small team of researchers who are already in place. We’re looking for a hands-on researcher who will do much of this work directly, lead the team day to day, and grow into a bigger leadership role as the team expands. Expect most of your week to go to research and building. What you’ll do • Work hands-on across the AI/ML core of the Mosaic platform (retrieval, agents, model routing, and evals) and own the research that improves it. • Shape the research agenda with the VP of Product and engineering, including what we investigate, how we measure it, and what goes into the product. • Lead a small research team day to day, set goals with each researcher, and help hire as the team grows. • Work inside the product team and with engineering to turn research into features customers use. • Define the quality bar for our AI outputs and make it measurable. Requirements What you bring • MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Science, or a closely related field. This is a hard requirement. • 6+ years of hands-on industry experience building production AI/ML systems. • Real production experience with AI agents: designed, built, evaluated, and improved them. Not just experimented. • Prior experience managing researchers or ML engineers. • Independent research mindset: a point of view on what to bet on next, and the judgment to defend it. • Track record of shipping research into product, not only papers or prototypes. • Comfortable partnering deeply with engineering and product. • You still enjoy writing code and running experiments yourself, and you want that to stay a big part of your job. Nice to have • Experience with enterprise B2B SaaS or applied research in industry (not only academic). • Public contributions (papers, talks, open-source, technical writing) that show the way you think. • Experience with RAG systems, evaluation infrastructure, or multi-agent orchestration at scale. Logistics Tel Aviv (Midtown), hybrid: Mon/Tue/Thu in-office.
