Backed by the world’s leading investors and working with a large and growing list of Fortune 1000 companies, we are looking for world-class talent to join us as we usher in the new era of data and AI security. About the Role We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Agent DLP team and take full ownership of testing and quality for our endpoint data loss prevention (DLP) product. This is the first QA position in the Agent team — a rare opportunity to shape how quality is defined, tested, and improved from day one. You’ll build and execute test plans for our Windows agent, combining hands-on manual testing with gradual automation as the product and team evolve. The role involves deep engagement with low-level system components and drivers, validating the agent’s stability, performance, and integration with Windows internals. At this stage, the focus is primarily on functional and regression testing, ensuring stable, reliable releases. Over time, you’ll drive the move toward automation and help drive the team’s long-term quality strategy while collaborating with additional QA members. Your work will directly influence the reliability, stability, and confidence of one of Cyera’s most critical product components. What You’ll Do • Own the end-to-end testing process for the Agent DLP product. • Design and execute tests for new features, regressions, and system-level scenarios. • Develop automated tests where appropriate to increase coverage and efficiency. • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure testability and quality from design through release. • Track and report quality metrics and KPIs to measure product health. • Apply strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect management. • Reproduce, document, and analyze defects to help identify root causes and prevent recurrences. • Gradually introduce automation tools and practices as the product matures. • Help establish a quality culture and practices from the ground up within a fast-moving engineering team. Requirements • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python (automation scripting, tools, or test development). • 2+ years of experience testing endpoint software across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. • Proven ability to design and execute manual tests with strong attention to detail. • Familiarity with Pytest or similar automation testing frameworks. • Experience defining QA processes, writing test cases, and maintaining documentation. • Familiarity with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and CI/CD workflows. • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills. • A proactive mindset with the ability to establish QA discipline in a growing team. • Test and validate low-level components, integrations, and driver behavior on Windows. Nice to Have • Experience testing endpoint agents, security software, or DLP products.

QA Engineer

Senior Software Engineer in Test – AI & Quality Infrastructure
VAST Data · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description The Reality Most QA roles are about writing scripts to catch bugs after the code is written. This isn't one of those roles. At VAST Data, we aren't just scaling software; we are building the fundamental engine that powers the global AI revolution. When you are managing exabytes of data at breaking-point speeds, traditional testing methodologies crumble. We don't need someone to follow a test plan. We need an architect to build a self-evolving, intelligent testing ecosystem. The Mission We want you to build the AI tools that validate our AI data platform. You will design autonomous, agentic systems that actively look for vulnerabilities, orchestrate their own testing logic, navigate distributed dependencies, and isolate regressions entirely on their own before they hit production. If you are a systems-level builder who gets excited by complex distributed systems, autonomous logic, and breaking things at an elite engineering scale, this is your playground. Requirements What You’ll Actually Do Everyday • Build AI Agents for Quality: Design and deploy production-grade Python frameworks and LLM-driven agentic tools that dynamically generate, execute, and self-correct test environments. • Orchestrate Chaos at Scale: Move past static assertions. You’ll build runtime verification tools that stress-test data integrity, multi-node failures, and deep storage engine behaviors. • Ditch the Manual Mindset: Drive our entire automation architecture toward a state where human intervention is the exception, not the rule. • Partner with Core R&D: Work side-by-side with our systems architects to inject intelligent code evaluation pipelines right into our fast-moving CI/CD engines. What You Bring to the Table • A Builder's Mindset: You consider yourself a software engineer first, who happens to apply their skills to infrastructure reliability and complex validation. • Python Mastery: You don't just use automation tools; you build them. You write clean, scalable, object-oriented code that other engineers love to read. • Distributed Systems Context: You understand the unique pain points of Linux kernels, multi-tenant networking layers, containerization (Docker/K8s), and data pipeline architectures. • AI Curiosity: You have hands-on experience or deep curiosity regarding LLMs, prompt pipelines, and modern AI developer environments.
