Description We are At Cross River, we're building the financial infrastructure that powers global innovation. With our cutting-edge suite of embedded payments, cards, and lending solutions, we enable millions of businesses and consumers to transact seamlessly and securely. With 900+ employees worldwide and an R&D center of over 160 employees in Jerusalem - we’re reshaping how financial technology is developed and delivered. . The Role As a NOC Engineer, you will be the first line of defense for Cross River's production environment — the person who spots incidents and ensures our platforms stay stable. You'll monitor and triage events across our full technology stack, from infrastructure to application level, owning each incident end-to-end: detecting, assessing severity, resolving where possible, and escalating with clear context when needed. You'll work closely with SRE, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams, building real operational knowledge of how payments, lending, and card-processing systems behave in production. This role is designed as a launchpad — for engineers who show initiative and growth, it opens a clear path into Software Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure. Who You Are We are looking for a NOC Engineer at the start of their technical career — a current student, recent graduate, or early-career technologist with genuine curiosity about how large systems work and what happens when they break. You do not need years of NOC experience. You need to be organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely interested in solving problems rather than just routing them. You are a self-learner who picks up new technology quickly and does not stop at the surface of a problem. You are comfortable being hands-on, you ask why something failed rather than only that it failed, and you look for better ways to do things instead of only following the procedure in front of you. What You’ll Actually Be Doing • Monitor Cross River's production environments 24/7 and ensure system stability across infrastructure, application, and service levels • Own the full event lifecycle — detect, triage, prioritize, and resolve incidents at Tier 1.5, reducing unnecessary escalations to engineering teams • Make real-time severity calls and notify the right people with the right context at the right time • Improve runbooks, alert quality, and monitoring coverage as you learn the platform. • Collaborate directly with SRE, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams, gaining hands-on exposure to the systems that power Cross River's financial products Requirements What You Bring to the Table • Hands-on technical exposure — through coursework, military service, internships, or personal projects. Formal NOC experience is welcome but not required. • Excellent communication skills; fluent in both English and Hebrew — Must • Some coding ability in Python, .NET, scripting in Bash, PowerShell or similar, or the demonstrated ability to learn them quickly — Must • Ability to stay organized and work effectively under pressure, including against regulatory deadlines — Must • Basic working knowledge of SQL, networking, and Linux and Windows servers • Willingness to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week (07:30–15:30, 15:30–23:30, 23:30–07:30), including a monthly overnight rotation and occasional Friday mornings. Overnight shifts are remote. • Teamwork, and a willingness to ask questions early rather than guess Preferred / Nice-to-Have • Familiarity with monitoring platforms (New Relic, Datadog, PagerDuty, SolarWinds) • Exposure to ticketing and logging systems (ServiceNow, Jira, ELK) • Exposure to cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure). AWS Preferred. • Interest in scripting and automating repetitive operational work Why You’ll Love Working Here • Flexible hybrid work model: three days a week at our Jerusalem office • Monthly wellness reimbursement – from therapy to gel manicure, it's up to you • Full Keren Hishtalmut, private health and dental insurance • Volunteer days, donation matching, Yoga and Pilates • A supportive, collaborative culture that puts our people first Next Step Hit Apply!
