Description DLP's rule-based framework is broken. We asked machines to find problems with rigid rules, then expected humans to investigate the noise - an impossible task. Jazz is the new model. It starts with total coverage from a forensic endpoint agent and uses a powerful Agentic Investigator that learns your business. It delivers clear, pre-investigated answers instead of alerts, and is designed to be run by a single person. Finally, DLP that works. We are looking for a Senior Low-Level Engineer to build the core technology that powers our endpoint intelligence. This role focuses on developing and owning critical capabilities within our Windows and macOS agents, from early research and proof of concept through production deployment. This is an early-stage, high-impact role where engineers take full ownership, move quickly, and shape foundational systems. What You’ll Do: • Design and develop core capabilities for our Windows, Linux, and macOS agents from early research and proof of concept through production deployment. • Explore new technical approaches, prototype solutions, and translate ideas into reliable and secure production code. • Own features E2E and integrate agent capabilities with backend systems and product workflows. • Build performant and reliable components that operate at the OS level and handle complex system interactions. • Ensure strong observability, performance, and stability across agent behavior in production environments. • Collaborate closely with backend, product, and security teams to deliver capabilities that support real-world security investigations. What We’re Looking For: • +6 years hands-on experience with low-level programming in languages such as Go, C, C++, or Swift, with a deep understanding of systems programming. • Strong knowledge of operating system internals and system-level development. • Experience building endpoint agents, system extensions, or similar low-level software. • Experience working with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments. • Experience with reverse engineering and analyzing system behavior. • Experience with Rust is an advantage. • Demonstrated technical curiosity through projects, CTFs, competitions, or other hands-on technical activities. • Ability to work independently, move quickly, and take ownership of complex technical challenges. Why join Jazz? • Work on cutting-edge AI + cybersecurity challenges. • Architect systems with massive technical depth and scale. • High ownership and autonomy in an early-stage environment. • Direct impact on product outcomes and engineering decisions. • Collaborate with elite engineers and founders who have built large-scale systems before. Our office is located at Sonol Tower, Tel Aviv, next to Carlebach rail station.
Description We're building a new kind of observability platform — one that developers actually want to use. groundcover is a fast-growing B2D company set to reinvent the way developers monitor their cloud-native applications and impact their organization's scale. We help teams by providing them with the insights they need to troubleshoot better and faster when trouble hits. We believe that even the most complex systems can have a flawless and amazing user journey. As the heart of groundcover is our sensor - an eBPF - powered agent that runs inside our customers' clusters and captures rich telemetry with near-zero overhead. The Sensor team owns this critical piece of the product: the code that runs closest to the data, on every node, in every customer environment. We’re looking for a Low-Level Developer to join the team - someone who loves working close to the kernel, cares deeply about performance, and wants their code measured in nanoseconds and bytes. What You'll Do: • Design and build the in-cluster sensor that powers groundcover's observability platform • Write low-overhead, high-performance instrumentation using eBPF and Go • Tackle hard problems in Linux internals, networking, and protocol parsing • Push the boundaries of what can be observed without modifying customer code • Ensure the sensor runs reliably across a huge variety of kernels, distros, and Kubernetes setups • Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to ship features end to end Requirements • 5+ years of systems or backend engineering experience, with strong Go skills • Solid grounding in operating system internals or low-level programming (C/C++/Rust, kernel, syscalls, memory management) • Deep understanding of Linux networking, syscalls, and process/container isolation • Familiarity with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, containers, CRI/CNI) • A performance mindset- you think about cache lines, allocations, and tail latency • Care about clean, maintainable, well-architected code • Love working on developer-first products and want your work to have real impact Bonus Points • Hands-on experience with eBPF or other kernel instrumentation frameworks • Background in protocol parsing, packet processing, or network observability • Contributions to open-source systems or infrastructure projects Why groundcover? • We're developers building for developers. • You'll have real ownership over your work. • We care about the craft, not just the speed.
