Description Curious about what it’s like to work at Cognyte? At Cognyte, you’ll collaborate with expert colleagues around the globe to solve problems most people will never even know exist! You’ll be part of building unique solutions shaped by real investigative methodologies, enabling our customers to identify, investigate, visualize and prevent criminal, terror and security threats worldwide. These solutions are used by law enforcement, national security, and national and military intelligence agencies in almost 100 countries to turn massive, diverse data into clear, actionable intelligence for a safer world. We are looking for a highly motived individual to lead a small, high-impact FP&A team that partners closely with Product and R&D. As a Cognyter, you will: • Lead and develop a small team, ensuring high-quality financial deliverables and strong business partnership. • Act as a trusted finance partner to Product and R&D leaders, with deep understanding of full P&L as well as other key business drivers. • Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the Product business units. • Monitor performance vs. plan, drive variance analysis, and highlight risks and opportunities. • Translate financial data into clear insights and a compelling business story for management. Requirements For that mission, you’ll need: • 5+ years of finance experience, including solid hands‑on FP&A work. • 2+ years of finance team management, preferably leading an FP&A team. • Strong hands-on FP&A skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Business partnering capabilities with the ability to influence decision-making. • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity. • AI-mindset - Proactively looks to move processes to AI‑driven solutions. Curious, hands‑on, and comfortable experimenting with new tools while maintaining strong judgment and data integrity. • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI or financial systems is an advantage. • Fluent English (written and spoken).
