We’re looking for a BI & Data Engineering Team Lead to join our BI team and take end-to-end ownership of high-impact analytics foundations while mentoring a team of 4-6 talented BI Data Engineers. This role sits at the core of how Lusha measures success, makes decisions, and scales—turning raw data into trusted, business-critical insights used across Product, GTM, and Finance. In this role, you'll combine people leadership with hands-on technical depth (roughly 30% of your time), owning the roadmap, architecture, and delivery of Lusha's BI platform. You’ll shape how AI and agentic workflows transform the way BI is built and consumed, helping raise the bar for analytics engineering across the company. Hands-on experience using GenAI to improve analytics engineering workflows, automate development processes, and increase delivery speed is a must for this role. This role is based in Tel Aviv. We work in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week in the office. This might be for you if: You enjoy owning data foundations end to end — from raw data to semantic layers while leading and growing people You like turning ambiguous business questions into clear, governed metrics and scalable data models You care about data quality, performance, and trust at scale, as well as optimization and FinOps practices You enjoy mentoring, setting technical standards, and leading by example with a hands-on approach (~30%) You actively leverage AI tools and agentic automations to improve development speed, analytical accuracy, and metric governance Requirements 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / BI roles, including 3+ years leading and managing a data or BI team Proven experience owning scalable, end-to-end data ecosystems, including team roadmaps, architecture decisions, and cross-functional delivery Deep experience with modern data stacks (Databricks and/or Snowflake) and modern transformation frameworks Advanced SQL and Python skills, including data quality, CI/CD, and observability Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and semantic layers Proven experience using GenAI tools and AI-assisted development (e.g., Claude Code) as part of your day-to-day development workflow A strong builder mindset, business orientation, and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives Nice to have: Experience leading a data platform migration Experience with incremental processing patterns and FinOps optimization practices

Description At ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, we’re building the technology that powers a new era of intuitive, transparent, people-first banking. As our platform grows and our services expand, we’re looking for a team leader to lead a data engineering team. The team is responsible for ingestion, processing, and serving bronze level data to other analytic teams in the organization. In this role, you will define the data architecture of our unified Data Lakehouse, own all ETL and streaming operations, define governance processes and implement tools, make sure our data is fresh, accurate and whole always. Your Day-to-Day • Mentor and lead a team of 4-6 data engineers. • Own sensitive data operations, including monitoring, on-call and production operations. • Build and manage all ETL and streaming operations related to the Data Lakehouse. • Develop, maintain, and optimize robust data pipelines and integrations across multiple systems. • Build a platform for other analytic teams to build data products on top of the Data Lakehouse. • Define and implement quality and governance processes to make sure data is fresh, accurate and whole. • Collaborate with engineering, BI, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions • Work hands-on with data orchestration, transformation, and cloud infrastructure (OCI, Snowflake, AWS) • Support implementation of best practices in data management and observability Requirements • 4+ year of direct management of team of 4-6 data engineers. • 8+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or similar roles. • Experience in financial systems or fintech (big advantage) • Deep hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Oracle etc’ • Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, Kafka, and other streaming solutions (must). • Proven SQL and Python skills (must). • Experience with cloud environments • Strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and communication skills • Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-system environment
