Description Smart Shooter היא חברה ציבורית ישראלית בתחום ההגנה וביטחון העוסקת בפיתוח ובייצור של מערכות בקרת ירי חכמות לנשק קל. באמצעות טכנולוגיות מתקדמות של עיבוד תמונה ובינה מלאכותית המערכות מגדילות את דיוק הירי ומשפרות באופן ניכר את אחוזי הפגיעה במגוון סוגי מטרות (קרקעיות, אוויריות, סטטיות או נעות, ביום ובלילה). החברה מפתחת, משווקת ומייצרת מערכות בתחומי האלאקטרואופטיקה ומציאות רבודה לכוחות הלוחמים ביבשה, באוויר ובים. אנחנו מרחיבים את צוות ה-R&D ומחפשים מהנדס/ת בקרה לצוות פיתוח מערכות תנועה ובקרה מדויקות בזמן אמת. במסגרת התפקיד: • פיתוח אלגוריתמי בקרה למערכות תנועה מדויקות בזמן אמת • תכנון ומימוש מודלי בקרה באמצעות MATLAB/Simulink – חלק מרכזי מהתפקיד • פיתוח ותחזוקה של אלגוריתמי בקרה למוצרים חדשים וקיימים • עבודה על מערכות בקרת אש, ייצוב, עקיבה ו-Line of Sight • אינטגרציה של מערכות, איתור תקלות ושיפור ביצועים על מערכות פיזיות • השתתפות בבדיקות מעבדה ובניסויים בשטח, כולל עבודה באתרי ניסוי בהתאם לצורך • ניתוח תוצאות ניסויים והטמעת שיפורים ברמת האלגוריתם והמערכת Requirements • B.Sc. או M.Sc. בהנדסת חשמל, הנדסת מכונות, הנדסת אווירונאוטיקה, מכטרוניקה או תחום רלוונטי • 3–5 שנות ניסיון בהנדסת בקרה או בפיתוח אלגוריתמי בקרה • ניסיון משמעותי בבקרת תנועה ובמערכות דינמיות • ניסיון בעבודה עם MATLAB/Simulink • הבנה מעמיקה בתורת הבקרה ובמערכות זמן אמת • ניסיון מעשי בבדיקות ובוולידציה של מערכות • ניסיון במערכות בקרת אש או בפיתוח אלגוריתמים למערכות בקרת אש • ניסיון במערכות Embedded או Real-Time • ניסיון ב-Python • רקע בתעשייה הביטחונית, רובוטיקה או מערכות אוטונומיות

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Control Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing the field of autonomous vehicles. As a Control Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing and testing hands on control algorithms to enhance the performance, safety, and efficiency of our autonomous vehicle systems. What will your job look like: • Work on developing and optimizing control algorithms for the vehicle. • Run and analyze simulations to test autonomous vehicle in virtual environments. • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate control algorithms with the vehicle's hardware components, such as sensors, actuators, and onboard computers. • Working with communication protocols and interfaces for both internal and external communications with different components of the system. • Customer facing workshops to discuss and test your algorithms. • Testing your algorithms in an Autonomous vehicle. All you need is: • B.Sc. in Software/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. M.Sc - advantage. • Background in control design and method for embedded systems or robotics (at least 3 years of experience). • Proficient in C++ & Python (at least 2 years of programming). • Experience in Linux. • Experience in Simulink RT - Advantage. • Willingness to travel a few times a year abroad.
