Developer Community Manager
groundcover · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Description groundcover is a fast-growing B2D company set to reinvent the way developers monitor their cloud-native applications and impact their organization’s scale. We help teams by providing them with the insights they need to troubleshoot better and faster when trouble hits. We believe that even the most complex systems can have a flawless and amazing user journey. groundcover is looking for a developer who happens to be great at social, not a social media marketer trying to sound technical. You’ll have your ear to the ground across X/Twitter, Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, and other developer communities, listening to what developers are talking about, debating, building, and struggling with. Then you’ll bring those conversations directly to the engineers sitting next to you at groundcover, get their perspective, and turn their expertise into timely, authentic technical content and conversations. This isn’t about filling a social calendar. It’s about making groundcover an authentic and valuable participant in the technical conversations developers are already having. This is an onsite role in our Tel Aviv office. You’ll work alongside our Engineering and Product teams every day, giving you direct access to the people building groundcover and the technical ideas behind it. What You’ll Do Your primary goal is to make groundcover a recognizable and respected voice within the developer community by connecting what developers are talking about externally with the technical expertise inside groundcover. • Own groundcover’s developer presence across X/Twitter, Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, and other relevant technical communities. • Keep your ear to the ground on what developers are discussing, debating, complaining about, and getting excited about, particularly around observability, Kubernetes, eBPF, OpenTelemetry, AI infrastructure, SRE, and developer tooling. • Bring those conversations back to groundcover engineers. Ask questions, understand their perspective, and turn their knowledge and opinions into timely technical content. • Participate in developer conversations directly, rather than simply publishing scheduled company content. • Work alongside Engineering and Product to uncover interesting technical stories, architecture decisions, lessons learned, product capabilities, and strong technical points of view. • Create posts, threads, technical explainers, demos, discussions, and other content designed for the communities where they will appear. • Identify emerging technical topics early and determine where groundcover has something meaningful and differentiated to contribute. • Experiment with AI tools and workflows to help discover conversations, research technical topics, repurpose engineering knowledge, and increase the speed and quality of content creation. • Build a feedback loop between the developer community and groundcover, bringing external conversations and signals back to Engineering, Product, and Marketing. • Measure what resonates with technical audiences and continuously improve our topics, formats, channels, and approach. Requirements • Hands-on experience as a software engineer, SRE, DevOps engineer, platform engineer, developer advocate, or another technical role involving regular software development. Developer experience is required. • Strong understanding of modern developer and infrastructure technologies. Experience with areas such as Kubernetes, Linux, cloud infrastructure, observability, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, eBPF, distributed systems, or developer tooling is a strong advantage. • Demonstrated experience participating in technical communities, particularly X/Twitter, Reddit, and Hacker News. • Strong instincts for how communication differs across developer communities. You understand that what works on LinkedIn probably won’t work on Hacker News. • Ability to talk directly with engineers, understand complex technical concepts, ask intelligent follow-up questions, and translate those conversations into compelling content without dumbing them down. • Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate quickly, clearly, and with personality. • Comfortable opening a terminal, reading code, trying a product, building a small demo, or digging into technical documentation when necessary. • Strong judgment about when groundcover has something valuable to contribute to a conversation and when it is better to listen. • Proactive and curious, with a natural desire to understand what developers are building and talking about. • Experience with observability, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, developer tools, or B2D companies is a strong advantage. You’ll Thrive Here If You: • You’re a developer who spends enough time on X/Twitter, Reddit, Hacker News, and GitHub that keeping up with developer conversations already feels natural. • You get excited when you spot a technical discussion gaining momentum and immediately want to know what our engineers think about it. • You’re comfortable walking over to an engineer and saying, “Everyone is talking about this. What are they getting right, and what are they missing?” • You can take the resulting 30-minute technical conversation and turn it into something developers actually want to read and respond to. • You care more about earning credibility with developers than generating another corporate social post. • You enjoy technical debate and aren’t afraid to have a point of view. • You know the difference between contributing to a community and marketing to one. • You want to sit close to the people building the product and become the bridge between those engineers and the broader developer community. • You genuinely love developer culture, infrastructure, and the constant stream of new ideas that comes with it.

Description Why Mindspace? At Mindspace, we're redefining what the workplace can be. Founded in 2014, Mindspace has grown into one of the world's leading premium flexible workspace providers, operating nearly 50 locations across Europe, the US, and Israel. More than beautifully designed workspaces, we are a hospitality-driven company built around exceptional service, inspiring environments, and vibrant communities. Our success has been built by ambitious people who care deeply about creating remarkable customer experiences, developing outstanding communities, and constantly raising the bar. As we continue to grow and expand our global footprint, we're looking for people who want to shape the future of work — and bring it to life every day. Why This Role? We’re preparing to open Mindspace Beyond — one of our most ambitious locations yet, a new large-scale workspace and business destination in the Tel Aviv–Givatayim area. Spanning approximately 10,000 sqm, Beyond will bring together premium private offices and enterprise suites, shared workspaces, meeting rooms and a major business events venue, all within a vibrant environment combining work, hospitality, lifestyle and wellbeing. Mindspace As Community Manager – Beyond, you’ll have a unique opportunity to join us at the beginning and help build the community and member experience from the ground up. You’ll be one of the key faces of Mindspace Beyond — creating meaningful relationships with members, bringing energy and personality into the space, building an engaged community and making sure every member receives the exceptional hospitality experience Mindspace is known for. This isn’t about maintaining an existing community. It’s an opportunity to help create one from day one. What You’ll Be Responsible For • Help launch and build the Mindspace Beyond community from the ground up, creating the culture, connections and member experience of our newest location. • Build strong, meaningful relationships with members and act as a trusted day-to-day point of contact. • Create an exceptional member journey from onboarding onwards, ensuring new members feel welcomed, connected and at home from day one. • Build and nurture an engaged community through networking, introductions, content, events and meaningful member interactions. • Identify members’ needs proactively, resolve issues quickly and continuously look for ways to improve their experience. • Plan and execute community initiatives, events and experiences that bring people together and strengthen engagement. • Work closely with the Site Manager and local Operations team to ensure a seamless day-to-day experience across the location. • Collaborate with Sales to support tours, new member onboarding, retention, renewals and opportunities to grow existing accounts. • Develop strong relationships with key contacts within member companies, including larger enterprise clients. • Gather member feedback and translate insights into improvements in service, community and overall experience. • Help connect the Mindspace community with the wider Beyond ecosystem, identifying opportunities for partnerships, collaborations and relevant experiences. • Be a visible ambassador for Mindspace and help establish Beyond as a destination where people genuinely want to work, meet and connect. Requirements What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of relevant experience in Community Management, Customer Success, Account Management, Hospitality, Events or another high-touch customer-facing environment. • Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver an exceptional customer/member experience. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with different personalities and seniority levels. • A proactive, hands-on mindset — you notice what needs to happen and make it happen. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how great member experience supports retention and business growth. • Experience working with enterprise/B2B clients is an advantage. • Experience supporting the opening of a new location, hospitality concept, venue or customer-facing operation is a strong advantage. • Experience in coworking, hospitality, lifestyle, events or a premium service environment is an advantage. • Excellent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken. • Comfortable working on-site and being a highly visible part of the day-to-day member experience. Who You Are You are a people person and a builder. You love creating connections, bringing people together and making others feel genuinely welcome — but you also enjoy the challenge of building something new rather than simply stepping into an established routine. You’re energetic, resourceful and highly proactive. You notice the small details that shape an exceptional experience, while also understanding the bigger picture of what makes a community successful. Most importantly, you want to be part of creating something from the beginning. Beyond will be a new chapter for Mindspace in Israel, and you’ll have the opportunity to help define what that experience feels like from day one. Mindspace is an equal-opportunity employer.
