Our culture is defined by great people with deep knowledge, integrity and values. Join our team and be a part of revolutionizing the way we help enterprises secure their SaaS ecosystem! This role involves building and maintaining state-of-the-art, highly scalable backend systems that process customers' data, fetched from a variety of sources. These systems give our customers visibility and insight into their security posture, risks and gaps. We are an AI-native engineering team. Claude Code is part of how we design, build, review, ship and operate our systems every day. We don't just use it: we build our own skills, plugins and MCP integrations on top of it, so our production knowledge and engineering standards are available to every engineer and every agent. We're a highly collaborative, friendly, inclusive and diverse group that prizes collaboration over competition. We provide opportunities to learn new skills, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to the direction of both the team and the products for which we're responsible. We work in a distributed, high-trust environment where you manage your own time and have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. This is a Hybrid position open to candidates in the Israel area. What You'll Do: • Develop and maintain backend systems at high scale, with emphasis on efficiency and scalability. • Work in a fast-paced environment, with high trust and independence to manage your own time. • Take an active part in shaping the decisions about the products you are building, from the design stage, through building and optimizing, to deployment, maintenance and monitoring. • Use Claude Code as a core part of your workflow: planning features, writing and testing code, reviewing PRs, profiling and benchmarking, and investigating production issues across logs, metrics and data stores. • Build and evolve our internal AI tooling. That means Claude Code skills, plugins, MCP servers and project context that encode our architecture, conventions and operational know-how for the whole R&D org. • Own the quality of everything you ship, whether you or an agent wrote it. Review, verify and test AI-generated code to the same bar as your own. • Work closely in peer-to-peer fashion with members of other teams, like Product, Customer Success/Support and more. • Keep services up and running in a healthy state. Tech Stack: • Python, Django • MongoDB, ElasticSearch • DuckDB, Parquet / PyArrow • Cloud (GCP: Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, KMS) • Kafka • Linux • Claude Code, including custom skills, plugins, MCP servers and hooks What You'll Need: • 4+ years of experience in development of backend cloud systems with a high-level language, 3+ years with Python. • Proven experience working on large systems and handling scaling issues. • Hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as part of your day-to-day development workflow. • Strong engineering judgment to direct AI agents effectively: breaking down problems, critically reviewing their output rather than accepting it as-is. • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. - Proficiency with common algorithms, data structures, code whiteboarding. Bonus Points: • Deep familiarity with Python internals. • Experience with MongoDB. • Experience with Parquet files / DuckDB. • Experience in microservice infrastructure. • Experience extending AI coding tools: writing Claude Code skills, subagents, hooks or plugins, or building MCP servers. • Experience with context engineering (CLAUDE.md files, specs, prompt design) or with builddebugging, code review or operations.
