We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our great Backend Engineering team.The team faces complex engineering issues on a daily basis, both solving new challenges and constantly improving the existing solutions. We work with all major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and use cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Neo4j, ElasticSearch, Redis, TimescaleDB, RabbitMQ, and more. Responsibilities • Responsible for the entire lifecycle of the projects, from initial design and development to deployment, monitoring and maintenance in the production environment • Contributing to technological and architectural decisions • Conducting design and code reviews • Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various backend system components • Interfacing with other teams (e.g. Frontend, DevOps) to deliver best-in-class features Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field • 3+ years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, Go) • Experience with cloud platforms and products (e.g. AWS, GCP and Azure) • Experience implementing data-intensive systems (message queue technologies) • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) • Experience with microservices based architecture

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing backend services and APIs for innovative AI and digital transformation projects across various industries. The role includes technical ownership from solution design through production deployment while collaborating with AI engineers, project managers, DevOps teams, and clients. Who you are: Experience • 7+ years in backend engineering, with a track record of handling technical trade-offs and ambiguity. • Proficiency in C#, Java, or a similar object-oriented language. • Strong SQL and database management skills. • Hands-on experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB. • Experience with message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka). • Experience with microservices architecture. • Experience extending complex existing systems while maintaining scalability and performance. • Hands-on, daily use of AI development tools. • A habit of validating before shipping: tests, metrics, and monitoring. • Independence: you can take a problem from definition to production without detailed specs. • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; you flag risks early. • BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience (e.g., military technology units like 8200).
