About the Role
Join a leading financial organization as a Manual QA Engineer, working on advanced Web-based systems in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership of software quality, work closely with development teams, and ensure reliable, high-quality solutions through comprehensive testing of Web applications, APIs, and databases. What You'll Do: Perform manual testing of Web-based applications, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing. Design, write, and execute test cases (TCs), test plans (STPs), and detailed test scenarios. Perform API testing using Postman, including REST API validation, request and response verification, status codes, and business logic testing. Execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity across relational databases. Identify, document, track, and manage software defects using Jira. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, testing, and continuous improvement. Requirements: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software QA testing of Web-based applications - Must Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing - Must Experience working with Jira in Agile/Scrum development teams - Must Experience writing test cases (TCs), test plans (STPs), and test scenarios, using test management tools such as TestRail or Xray - Must Strong hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing, including request/response validation, status codes, and business logic - Must Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including writing queries and validating data - Must Knowledge and understanding of test automation concepts and methodologies - Must Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks - Advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to investigate complex issues
