Description Fetcherr builds responsible AI that turns market complexity into measurable profit growth. At its core is the Market Model, a proprietary AI model that delivers granular demand predictions and real-time decision intelligence for commercial teams. Built on a glass-box architecture, it uses market data, not personal data, with full transparency into logic and outcomes. First deployed in global aviation, the technology is industry-agnostic, and Fetcherr delivers a consistent average profit uplift of 7%. Fetcherr Labs is a new unit that takes this engine to mid-size companies, run by agents and delivered inside the tools customers already use, such as Excel and Copilot. Labs is small, flat and senior, and builds with AI agents from day one. You will work directly with the Market Model Lead and report to the Chief of Labs. The role We are looking for a Demand Modeling Scientist who owns demand models end to end: from a new customer's raw history to a model running in production, measured against real outcomes. You will teach the engine how demand behaves in new industries, starting with aftermarket parts, and prove the uplift through live A/B tests with our design partners. What you'll do • Develop and implement state-of-the-art econometric and machine learning models for demand forecasting. • Own the full machine learning lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining and retirement. • Conduct research and experimentation to improve accuracy, robustness and scalability, and adapt models to new industries and customer data. • Design how models are measured in production, including A/B tests that show the uplift for each customer. • Build with AI coding agents as your everyday way of working: agents write and test much of the code, and you design, review and decide. • Work with data and platform engineers to put models into production on Azure, and keep them explainable and reliable. • Explain complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including customers and executives. Requirements What you bring • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, with a proven record of turning models into business outcomes. • Proven experience taking models through the full lifecycle into production: versioning, testing, reproducibility, deployment, monitoring and retraining. • Expertise in time-series forecasting, ideally deep-learning based, preferably in demand prediction or related areas. • Feature engineering, feature importance testing and explainability experience. • Proficiency in Python and its ML and data stack (PyTorch or TensorFlow, Pandas or Polars, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SQL). • Hands-on use of AI coding agents (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) in your daily development, and a strong view on where they help and where they don't. • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering or a related field. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to have • Experience with pricing, revenue management, retail or B2B distribution. • Experience with experimentation and causal measurement (A/B testing, uplift). • Experience with cloud ML platforms (Azure ML or Microsoft Fabric preferred; GCP or AWS also relevant). • Familiarity with workflow orchestration in general (any modern orchestrator). • Publications in top-tier peer-reviewed ML venues (ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS) or strong results in data science competitions. If you want to own demand models end to end, build with agents, and bring a proven AI engine to a whole new market, we'd love to hear from you.

First deployed in global aviation, the technology is industry-agnostic and scales across volatile markets. Fetcherr delivers a consistent average profit uplift of 7%, with corporate partners including Delta, Virgin Atlantic, WestJet, Viva, and Azul. The opportunity Our rapid growth into new verticals and markets presents a fantastic opportunity to evolve our platform. We are building on our initial successes by transitioning to a highly scalable architecture that seamlessly supports our expanding customer base across diverse industries. It’s an engineering opportunity to turn a carefully operated platform into a Kubernetes-native, self-service product. The goal is to serve internal customers first and deliver at high velocity with safe, capable self-service solutions aligned with the best practices of platform engineering. It's a leadership opportunity in equal measure: you'll build and grow the team that owns it, and have an impact on how platform engineering is done here as the company scales. What you'll own • Self-Service Enablement: Empower cross-functional teams with secure, automated pathways that accelerate development while maintaining organizational standards. • Architectural Modularization: Evolve our infrastructure into a decoupled, scalable architecture that supports rapid iteration and independent service lifecycles. • Unified Infrastructure Management: Implement a rigorous "Everything as Code" strategy, treating infrastructure, policy, and configuration with the same standards as application software. • Proactive Reliability: Foster a culture of operational excellence through robust observability, clear Service Level Objectives, high operational hygiene and safety. What success looks like: • In 6 months: Lead the transformation to a self-service infrastructure platform. Target a 30% reduction in deployment lead times and a 50% increase in self-service adoption among R&D teams. Implement platform-wide observability and SLO monitoring to ensure 99.9% uptime for core services. • In 12 months: Evolve the Platform Engineering team into a high-scale, autonomous unit that sets the standard for engineering excellence. Define technical domain ownership for core infrastructure and scale the global team. Who you are as a leader: • Your job is to deliver value sustainably — at a pace the team can hold indefinitely, not a sprint to burnout. • You empower, you don't assign. You give people context and autonomy, hold them accountable, and speak less so they speak more. • You build a learning team — retrospectives that turn data into action, postmortems that find root cause without blame, and deliberate work on growing each engineer and killing the bus-factor-of-one. • "The how" is non-negotiable: tested, reviewed, observable, highly available, staging-first. "Done" means in production, serving customers. • You stay hands-on enough to earn technical trust and make hard calls. Requirements What you bring • A strong record in Platform Engineering / DevOps, with deep hands-on Kubernetes in production. • Proven experience leading engineers: mentoring, hiring, and growing a team • Strong cloud-native and Kubernetes-native mindset: you reach for declarative, GitOps, controllers, and abstraction before bespoke scripts. • Fluency in Python, Go, and Bash sufficient to build tooling and review your team's work. • Hands-on with multi cloud at production scale (GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery). • Fluency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, KCC), Helm, and GitOps delivery (ArgoCD or similar) and opinions on doing them well at scale. • A product mindset toward platform: you treat internal engineers as customers and self-service as the goal. • A point of view on AI-assisted and spec-driven development, and how to make engineers faster with it while keeping change safe to ship. • A culture of learning from failure: blameless postmortems, real root cause, and fixing the system so the same incident can't recur. Nice to have • Multi-cloud experience (AWS / Azure) — GCP is home, but breadth helps. • Policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest, Kyverno) and supply-chain/CI security. • SLO/error-budget practice and DORA-based delivery measurement. • Big Data or MLOps exposure (Airflow, Dagster, Ray, Kubeflow).

Description Fetcherr builds responsible AI that transforms market complexity into measurable profit growth. At the core of the company is the Market Model - a proprietary AI-powered model delivering accurate, granular demand predictions with 96% forecast accuracy and real-time decision intelligence for commercial teams. Built on a glass-box architecture, it uses market data - not personal data - with full transparency into logic and outcomes. First deployed in global aviation, the technology is industry-agnostic and scales across volatile markets. Fetcherr delivers a consistent average profit uplift of 7%, with corporate partners including Delta, Virgin Atlantic, WestJet, Viva, and Azul. Fetcherr Labs is our new, founder-mode unit bringing that engine to the mid-market. Our agentic solution will be hosted inside the platforms of the world’s major technology and business software giants, the enterprise clouds, CRMs, and productivity suites our customers already live in, so it has to run natively inside each of these ecosystems and speak their language, not just one. It’s a small, flat, deliberately senior team: no layers, no ceremony, high trust, and real ownership. We move at POC speed, ship, and let the results make the argument. If you want to sit in the room where the architecture is decided and then write the code that proves it, this is that room. The role We’re looking for a System Architect to own the technical foundation of the Labs product end to end, from the whiteboard to production on Azure. Working closely with our Chief AI Officer, you’ll translate complex research assumptions and decisioning methodologies into clean, self-service products. You will port the right pieces of Fetcherr’s engine into a lean new stack, make it integrate cleanly across the business environments our customers already run, and lead the coding yourself. This is a hands-on architect role, not an oversight role: you set the design and you’re in the codebase every day. A core part of the mandate is a fully agentic SDLC, building the product with AI coding agents end to end, not just building an agentic product. We expect a small team to ship like a large one by making agent-driven development the default way we design, write, and review code. You’ll define how we do that. What you’ll do • Translate methodology into product. Partner with the Chief AI Officer to turn complex assumptions, math, and decisioning methodologies into clean, self-service products a customer can run without a data-science team. • Own the architecture. Design a scalable, cloud-native system on Azure, covering services, data flow, model-serving and the end-to-end decision pipeline, and keep it coherent as it grows. • Lead the coding. Set the standards, make the hard build-vs-buy calls, and write the core code yourself. You’re the technical center of gravity for the team. You will guide and work shoulder-to-shoulder with the other engineers through the architecture and the code, without managing them directly. Leadership here is by design and example, not by org chart. • Stand up a fully agentic SDLC. Establish how we design, generate, review, and ship code with AI agents end to end: the tooling, guardrails and CI gates that let a small team punch far above its size. • Stand up the environment. Establish a fresh, greenfield Azure environment for Labs on a Kubernetes-native, Everything-as-Code foundation: IaC (Terraform, Helm), GitOps (ArgoCD or similar) and CI/CD from day one. In the early days that means rolling up your sleeves on the platform groundwork (subscriptions, networking, environments), working hands-on alongside Microsoft’s teams to get us live. • Run natively inside the giants’ ecosystems. Design the integration layer so our agentic solution is hosted within the major enterprise-cloud, CRM and productivity platforms, plugging into each one’s native agent and data surfaces so customers adopt it without leaving the tools they already use. • Ship the POC end to end, then harden it toward a production-grade, self-service GA platform. • Set the engineering culture. Define the bar for quality, observability, and cost-awareness for everyone who joins after you. Requirements Who you are • 10+ years in software engineering with vast, hands-on production experience. You have architected, shipped, and run large-scale cloud-native systems in the real world, and that scar tissue is what lets us move fast in the right direction and avoid expensive wrong turns. • Hands-on and current: you architect and code. Strong in Python (our primary language; Go/Bash a plus) and comfortable owning a service from design to production. • Kubernetes-native by instinct (declarative-first, controllers and operators, Docker) with real Everything-as-Code discipline: IaC (Terraform, Helm), GitOps (ArgoCD or similar), and a defined, CI-gated SDLC. • Production-first: you design for reliability, observability, and recoverability, with clear SLOs, sound alerting and blameless postmortems, and you own what you ship. • Real, hands-on Azure depth at production scale. Labs runs entirely on Azure and we are standing the environment up from zero, so this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have. You need to know Azure already rather than learn it here. • Experience designing systems that run ML / data-science workloads in production (model serving, feature/data pipelines, inference at scale). • A data-engineering and data-science foundation is a big plus. You are comfortable with data pipelines, feature engineering, and reasoning about data quality, and you can speak the language of the data scientists you’ll build for. • Fluent with agentic development. You have driven real work through AI coding agents and have a point of view on running a fully agentic SDLC well and safely. • A builder’s temperament: thrives with ambiguity, high ownership, and a flat team; makes decisions and moves. • Fluent English for cross-team collaboration and technical documentation. Nice to have • Depth in Azure AI tooling (AI Foundry, Copilot, Fabric), plus a track record integrating across third-party business platforms (CRM, sales, productivity, data). • Deep understanding of pricing systems or decision-support / decisioning systems is a strong plus (also: forecasting, optimization). • Platform-engineering mindset, building secure, automated, self-service pathways for other engineers as internal customers. • Track record taking a 0→1 product from POC to GA, including the messy middle. • Experience standing up MLOps / LLMOps and pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Kedro, Ray, Kubeflow). • Policy-as-code and supply-chain/CI security (OPA/Conftest, Kyverno), plus SLO/error-budget and DORA-based delivery practice. The stack you’ll work in Python · Azure (greenfield, our only cloud) · Kubernetes · Docker · Everything-as-Code: Terraform, Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD) · CI/CD · observability & SLOs · orchestration (Airflow / Dagster / Ray) · a fully agentic SDLC. Greenfield, so you’ll help set the final choices. Why this one is different Most architect roles hand you a mandate and a maze of stakeholders. This one hands you a clean slate, a greenfield Azure foundation you’ll stand up yourself, a proven engine to draw from, and a team small enough that your decisions ship the same week. We’re building toward a system that runs on auto-pilot, and you will design the spine of it. If that’s the problem you want, let’s talk.

Fetcherr is scaling rapidly, and we are transforming our internal infrastructure into a high-velocity, self-service product. This is a senior opportunity to architect the future of our platform, setting the technical standard for how we deliver services while ensuring reliability and developer independence across diverse global markets. Responsabilities: • Self-service enablement: Build secure, automated pathways that accelerate development while keeping organizational standards intact. • Architectural modularization: Design Kubernetes-native abstractions — controllers and operators — and decouple infrastructure into independent service lifecycles that support rapid iteration. • Everything as code: Treat infrastructure, policy, and configuration with the same SDLC as application software — versioned, reviewed, tested, and CI-gated. • Proactive reliability: Own production through robust observability, clear SLOs, and high operational hygiene; define alerting that fires correctly and lead blameless postmortems that fix the system. Requirements • Strong GCP experience at production scale (GKE, IAM, networking, Cloud SQL/BigQuery). No compromise here. • Kubernetes-native mindset: declarative-first, comfortable with controllers and operators, and a platform-engineering instinct for self-service and separation of concerns. • Everything-as-code discipline: any code ships through a defined SDLC (versioned, reviewed, tested, CI-gated). Terraform (KCC a plus), Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD or similar) in your toolkit. • Software engineering background, or proven strong development ability in Go and/or Python — you write production code, not just glue scripts. • Security awareness baked into how you build: least-privilege IAM, secret hygiene, policy and supply-chain gates, not bolted on after. • Production-first mindset: you design for reliability, observability, and recoverability, and you own what you ship. Nice to have: • Policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest, Kyverno) and supply-chain/CI security tooling. • SLO/error-budget practice and DORA-based delivery measurement. • Multicloud experience (AWS / Azure) — GCP is home, but breadth helps. • Big Data or MLOps exposure (Airflow, Dagster, Ray, Kubeflow). • A point of view on AI-assisted and spec-driven development.
