We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Backend Engineer to join our development team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure and components of our platform. As part of your role, you will also work on the frontend aspects of our platform and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimize full-cycle system performance. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support our web applications. • Implement and optimize data storage solutions, including databases, to ensure efficient and reliable data management. • work closely with front-end developers to integrate backend functionalities and ensure a seamless user experience. • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues, and optimize system performance. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering (or equivalent work experience). • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer with hands-on production experience working in the backend side of complex systems. • Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Go, C#) and associated frameworks. • Hands-on experience in the following technology stack: Kubernetes & Helm, Frontend experience, NodeJS (Typescript), Elasticsearch. • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL- advantage), and ability to design efficient schemas and write optimized queries. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Low-level understanding of network protocols and Windows internals- advantage. • Experience with cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure)- advantage. You'll own that integration layer end-to-end - backend services and the networking know-how behind them. Responsibilities • Design and build the software that talks directly to enterprise network switches: real devices, real production networks, real impact. • Push the boundaries of how we manage devices at scale: new protocols, new vendors, better abstractions. • Build the cloud backend that turns raw device data into something powerful (Go/C#, gRPC, PostgreSQL). • Solve hard, unglamorous distributed-systems problems: concurrency, reliability, scale - with code that ships to production and protects real infrastructure Requirements • 3-5 years as a backend engineer, proficiency in at least one of Go/C#/Java/C++. • Networking knowledge: L2/L3, VLANs, routing, TCP/IP, ACLs. • Hands-on experience automating network devices - SSH/CLI, NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP, gNMI, Netmiko/NAPALM, or similar. • Comfort with concurrent code that has to survive flaky real-world network conditions Nice to Have • Multi-vendor network experience (Cisco, Aruba, and others). • Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure) and microservices/gRPC. • Experience with flow-based telemetry protocols (IPFIX, NetFlow, sFlow). Reporting directly to the Senior Bookkeeper, this role will be responsible for managing the accounts payable cycle, employee expense processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Vendor Management Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment execution. Maintain accurate vendor records and support vendor onboarding activities. Ensure timely vendor payments in accordance with agreed payment terms. Monitor accounts payable balances and open items. Reconcile credit card transactions and vendor accounts. Assist with month-end closing activities. Responsibilities Description • Define product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing business priorities with technical constraints. • Work closely with Engineering and QA to ensure successful product delivery. • Partner with engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs across platforms and operating systems and prioritize based on customer and business impact • Translate complex technical and customer requirements into clear product specifications. • Own performance and resource-footprint requirements for the agent across diverse system environments • Act as the technical point of contact across engineering, customer engineering, sales, and customers on endpoint-related topics • Define product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and technical opportunities. • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for product innovation. • Stay current with emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends.
