We are growing rapidly while maintaining profitability, making this an exciting time to join our Finance team. Role Overview: As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in keeping WeSki’s day-to-day financial operations running smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. This is a hands-on operational role with a broad scope, covering supplier payments, customer payments, reconciliations, financial controls, and process management. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance Operations while independently managing key processes and ensuring they are handled effectively from start to finish. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the details, taking ownership of problems, and improving the way things are done. This isn’t a role for someone who simply follows existing processes. We want someone who is curious about how things work, challenges inefficient workflows, and looks for opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to make our finance operations more efficient and scalable. The role requires a solid understanding of financial processes, but above all, a strong operational mindset and the ability to independently drive tasks and processes from start to finish. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable/receivebale, accounting, or a similar role. • Solid understanding of core financial processes, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, and basic accounting principles. • Strong attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy. • Proven ability to independently manage processes from start to finish. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and find practical solutions. • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Good Excel / Google Sheets skills and confidence working with financial data. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • A hands-on, proactive approach and willingness to get into the details. • Technologically curious and comfortable using AI and automation tools, with an interest in finding smarter and more efficient ways to work. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes, priorities, and business needs. Advantages • Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment. • Experience in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry. • Experience working with ERP, accounting, payment, or finance systems. • Experience building, improving, or automating financial processes. • Experience using AI tools to improve workflows or automate repetitive tasks. • Experience working with international suppliers, multiple currencies, or cross-border payments.
