Technical Support Lead
Vega · Israel

Description Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams. Vega is already delivering real impact at some of the world’s largest organizations by improving detection, unlocking the value of security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we are looking for people who want to help shape the future of security operations. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Technical Support Lead to own how Vega supports its customers. Our customers are security teams at large organizations who rely on Vega to run their SOC. For them, good support means fast, knowledgeable answers from people who understand both the product and their environment. It also plays a big part in whether they renew and grow with us. We think support in 2026 should look different. AI agents now handle much of the investigation, triage, and first response, and people focus on judgment, complex problems, and customer relationships. Our support is already built this way, as a mix of AI agents and people, and you’ll help shape how it keeps evolving. In this role you’ll be the main escalation point for customer issues and own our response from the first message to resolution. You’ll support customers at every stage, from technical questions during evaluations and POCs to issues in production. You’ll work closely with R&D, Pre-Sales, and Post-Sales to resolve issues, keep customers informed, and feed what we learn back into the product. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Own Vega’s support response, with a focus on quality and depth as well as speed. • Own support metrics and make decisions based on data. Define what we measure, know where customers get stuck and where we’re slow, spot trends early, and use the data to drive changes in product, process, and priorities. • Act as the escalation point for critical customer issues: coordinate across teams, keep everyone updated, and follow through to resolution. • Work AI-first. Use AI agents and tools as part of everyday work for investigation, triage, documentation, and customer communication, and keep looking for ways to do more with them. • Help shape how our AI agents and people work together: decide what agents should handle, where a person adds the most value, and how to keep the quality of both high. • Support both Pre-Sales (POCs and evaluations) and Post-Sales (production customers), working alongside SEs, TAMs, and Cyber Defense Services. • Work with R&D to find root causes and prioritize fixes based on customer and business impact. • Build and refine support processes such as escalation paths, SLAs, and customer communication, with AI built in from the start. • Requirements WHAT YOU WILL BRING • 4+ years in technical support, support engineering, or a customer-facing technical role, ideally working with enterprise customers. • Experience handling customer escalations, with clear communication and a strong sense of ownership. • Solid technical background in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), data pipelines, and integrations. • A data-driven approach, with experience defining support metrics and using them to drive improvements. • An AI-native way of working: you already use the latest AI models and tools every day and have strong opinions on where they help and where they don’t. • An understanding of how support affects the business, including customer trust, renewals, and deals. • Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working with engineers, customers, and executives alike. • Experience in a startup or fast-growing company is a plus. NICE TO HAVE • Background in a SOC, Security Engineering, Incident Response, or Threat Hunting role. • Hands-on experience with SIEM or observability platforms (Splunk, Elastic/ELK, Microsoft Sentinel, or equivalent). • Experience supporting SIEM deployments at enterprise scale. • Experience supporting Pre-Sales teams during POCs and technical evaluations. • Experience working with AI agents in a support or operations setting. • Familiarity with KQL (Kusto Query Language).

Description Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams - already delivering real impact at some of the world's largest organizations by improving detection, unlocking the value of their security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket-ship in cyber. The Role You'll build Vega's financial planning and analysis function from scratch - no existing model, process, or team to inherit. You get to lay the foundation, run it yourself for the first year, and then build the team around it. The most important part of this job, by far, is partnering with our go-to-market org. You'll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales and Marketing leadership, turning pipeline into forecasts and financial insight into real commercial decisions. If you'd rather build models quietly in a corner, this probably isn't your role - we need someone who wants to be in the room. What You'll Do Business partnering with go-to-market (the heart of the job) • Be the finance partner Sales and Marketing leadership actually turns to - pipeline coverage, quota planning, headcount, spend • Own the revenue forecast, and keep it tightly connected to what's happening on the ground in go-to-market • Dig into unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback, margin by segment • Lead the financial thinking behind pricing and packaging decisions Planning and models • Build and own the company's operating model - revenue, headcount, and expenses across every department • Build and maintain the model we use for fundraising, and support diligence with investors • Run the annual budget and rolling forecasts, and keep a clear eye on runway and scenario planning Reporting and leadership • Build board materials - not just the slides, but the story behind them • Set up monthly reporting rhythms, variance analysis, and department budget reviews • After about a year, hire and lead your own FP&A team Requirements What You Bring • 8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking followed by an operating role • Startup experience: you've built FP&A foundations at an early or growth-stage company • Real fluency in SaaS metrics and unit economics • A track record of true partnership with go-to-market teams - this is what will set you apart from other candidates • Experience building fundraising models and board materials that leadership genuinely relied on • Expert-level modeling chops, and you're just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves solo as you are eventually leading a team • A communicator who can turn a spreadsheet into a decision, not just a report

Description Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams. Vega is already delivering real impact at some of the world's largest organizations - improving detection, unlocking the value of their security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket-ship in cyber. We're looking for a Security Researcher to join our team at the intersection of security research, AI, and product. This isn't a traditional research role - you'll be deeply embedded in how the platform is built, working side by side with R&D, Product, and AI teams to make sure security expertise is baked into every layer of what we ship. You'll own detection and analytics research across cloud, identity, endpoint, and beyond, while actively shaping how AI capabilities are applied to solve real security problems at scale. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Research and develop sophisticated detections and behavioral analytics across multiple security landscapes - cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and application - with a focus on coverage that scales across customer environments. • Work closely with R&D, Product, and AI teams as the security authority - reviewing features, shaping designs, and ensuring security logic is sound, practical, and impactful. • Apply an AI-native approach to detection and analytics challenges - leveraging LLMs, ML signals, and AI-assisted workflows to do things that rule-based approaches can't. • Identify gaps in detection coverage and analytical capabilities, and drive those findings directly into the product roadmap. • Analyze real-world attacker techniques and translate them into detection logic, hunting content, and analytical frameworks that ship as part of the platform. • Evaluate detection quality rigorously - measuring fidelity, coverage, and performance against real attacker behavior and production telemetry. • Stay sharp on the evolving threat landscape and rapidly incorporate new techniques, campaigns, and attacker tooling into our detection library. • Contribute to external research output - blog posts, talks, open-source tooling - that reflects our depth and point of view in the security community. Requirements WHAT YOU WILL BRING • 6+ years of hands-on experience in detection engineering, security research or incident response - working with real production data at scale. • Deep knowledge of attacker techniques and behavior across at least 2 from: cloud, identity, endpoint, and network environments, with the ability to translate that directly into high-fidelity detection logic. • An AI-native mindset - you've built or applied AI-powered tooling in a security context (detection pipelines, alert investigation, hunting workflows) and you default to AI-powered approaches before reaching for manual ones. • Experience working within or alongside a product or engineering team - you understand how software gets built, and you know how to make your security expertise actionable for R&D and Product. • Strong coding skills (Python or similar), used for research, data analysis, detection development, and tooling. • A product-oriented approach to research - you think about scale, usability, and customer impact, not just technical correctness. • Self-directed and a strong self-learner - you don't wait to be pointed at problems, and you move fast when you find them. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Solutions Architect, CTO Office - IL
Vega · Israel

Description Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams. Vega is already delivering real impact at some of the world’s largest organizations by improving detection, unlocking the value of security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we are looking for people who want to help shape the future of security operations. ABOUT THE CTO OFFICE The CTO Office is Vega's elite task force. When something is broken, complex, or critical - this is the team that gets the call. We don't wait for a clean handoff or a scoped ticket. We go in, figure it out, and make everything work. No notice, no excuses. Our mandate spans the full width of the company: named technical representative on the deals that matter most, builders of the infrastructure that makes Vega deployable at Fortune 50 scale, and owners of the feedback loop that keeps R&D building the right things. We move things inside the organization and outside of it - across product, engineering, customers, and leadership - and at the end of the day, we're the team that closes the loop end to end. If that sounds like the kind of team you want to be part of - read on. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Be the expert and escalation point for the most strategic accounts. You're the named CTO Office representative on the deals you're assigned - accountable for whether the deployment succeeds and whether product hears what needs to be heard. • Take on the hardest problems, without notice. When something is blocking a deal or a customer, you don't escalate it. You own it. • Influence the product roadmap. You carry field signal directly into R&D. You're expected to have strong opinions about what should move and why. • Build what doesn't exist yet. If Vega needs it and it isn't there, you build it. • Produce technical content. Whitepapers, blogs, and writeups. You help define how the world experiences and understands what we're building. • Travel. Tel Aviv is home base. US customers and industry events are a regular stop. WHO YOU ARE • We're not looking for someone who fits neatly into a box. We're looking for someone who finds neat boxes a little underwhelming. • You're a builder, not just an advisor - analysis without artifacts isn't enough. • You close loops. You ship things - You leave systems better than you found them. • You're customer-obsessed - you understand that what happens in enterprise POVs isn't a distraction from the real work. It is the real work. You run toward hard customer problems rather than away from them. • You're opinionated and direct - you push back when something is wrong, change your mind when shown better evidence, and write and speak clearly without filler. • You move without waiting to be told - when something is broken or missing, you identify it, own it, and fix it. You don't need a clean scope to start. You operate well under ambiguity and produce clarity for everyone around you. • You have a hacker mentality - you find the path through, you're comfortable in ambiguous and underdocumented systems, and you debug by instinct as much as by method. • You're technically deep and contextually wide - you can go deep on a data pipeline, a detection rule, a query engine, or a cloud architecture, then explain any of it to an executive the same afternoon. Requirements WHAT YOU WILL BRING • 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in security research, systems engineering, or a combination. Academic credentials matter less than what you've actually built and broken. • Strong security domain knowledge - threat detection, SecOps workflows, SIEM architecture, detection engineering, or offensive security research. You know this space from the inside. • Fluency in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You understand how data flows through cloud-native architectures and have operated in them. • Comfortable writing and shipping code - scripts, pipelines, tooling. You don't need to be a software engineer by title, but you build things that work. Fluent with LLMs and AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or equivalent). You use them as a force multiplier, not a novelty. • Experience with enterprise technical engagements - POVs, architecture reviews, or field engineering. You're not learning how to handle a skeptical CISO on the job. Strong written and verbal English. You produce external-quality technical content and you're credible in front of a US enterprise audience. NICE TO HAVE • Background in Unit 8200 or comparable military cyber / intelligence work • Experience with SIEM platforms at an administrative or engineering depth (Splunk, CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar) • Familiarity with data engineering patterns - S3, Lambda, streaming pipelines, log normalization Published research, blogs, or notable open-source contributions • Prior experience in a CTO Office, field CTO, or technical strategy function at a security company. WHY VEGA • Series B company ($185M raised) with serious enterprise traction and real runway to build • A platform that's genuinely novel - not an incremental improvement on existing SIEMs • A role with full scope: customers, product, engineering, and research all in one charter • A team that moves fast, owns things completely, and doesn't wait for permission • Tel Aviv headquarters, global customer base, frequent US travel
