Responsibilities • Architect a Centralized Platform: Design and develop a comprehensive, multi-purpose application that serves as the central hub for the company's robotic operations, fleet management, and performance analytics. • Develop Robot Control Interfaces: Build real-time control systems that allow engineers and operators to securely connect to the robots, visualize live sensory data, and directly command robot functionality via tele-operation. • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate closely with our AI, simulation, and hardware teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration between the physical robots, backend infrastructure, and user interfaces. Requirements • 5+ years of proven experience in backend software engineering and scalable system design. • Deep proficiency in Python and a strong working knowledge of TypeScript. • A proven track record of building robust APIs and successfully integrating complex software components (e.g., physics simulations, data collection, distributed systems). • Solid experience designing and implementing asynchronous communication using message brokers and event streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). • Extensive hands-on experience designing and managing both SQL and NoSQL databases. Specific experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis is highly preferred. • Hands-on experience implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Elastic Stack / ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure the reliability and health of complex, distributed architectures. Responsibilities You will build agentic systems for robotics: LLM- and VLM-based agents that plan tasks, call robot skills as tools, verify outcomes and recover from failure, along with the harnesses that evaluate them in simulation and on the robot. You will develop advanced data-generation methods for deep learning models, combining 3D simulation, reinforcement learning and spatial agents to produce realistic, diverse training data at scale. You will reconstruct real environments and objects with Gaussian splatting and 3D computer vision, and bring them into simulation with correct geometry, so our models train where they will be deployed. You will take this work from prototype to production-grade pipelines on distributed GPU compute. Requirements • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 4+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics software engineering. • Python Expertise: Extensive experience and strong proficiency in Python, a must-have. • Deep learning: Proven experience building and scaling deep learning pipelines (PyTorch), beyond just using existing ones. • Breadth: Hands-on experience in at least one of agentic LLM/VLM systems, simulation/RL data generation, or 3D reconstruction, and familiarity with the others. In this role, you will take ownership of our Board Support Packages (BSPs) and be responsible for carrier board bring-up, device driver engineering and integration (including custom BSP adaptation), and managing the OS foundation for our perception, control systems, and core software. Additionally, you will partner closely with NVIDIA on integrating new hardware platforms. This is a senior-level individual contributor role. Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end bring-up of new carrier board revisions and customize third-party BSPs for carrier boards, including kernel, device tree, and peripheral driver development. • Develop, integrate, and maintain device drivers for cameras, IMUs, motor controllers, and custom hardware peripherals. • Diagnose and resolve complex driver issues spanning the hardware, kernel, and userspace boundary. • Collaborate closely with NVIDIA and external partners to drive new board integrations and architect next-generation platforms.
