Office & Workplace Operations Manager
Matia · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Location: Ramat Gan (Bursa), Israel (On-site) About Matia Matia is at the forefront of the DataOps revolution, building a unified platform that streamlines data management from end-to-end. We empower data teams with seamless ingestion, reverse ETL, comprehensive observability, and intuitive data cataloging, enabling faster, smarter decisions with significantly less tool sprawl. Backed by leading investors and trusted by data teams at companies like Ramp, Honeybook, Drata and Lemonade, we’re building the future of data confidence. Our Israel team is growing, and we need someone who makes the office run smoothly and keeps our people feeling welcome and well looked after, every day. The Opportunity We are looking for an Office & Workplace Operations Manager to own our Ramat Gan (Bursa) office from end to end: facilities and maintenance, budget and vendor management, and every office project. You will report to our VP of Operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes real ownership of a physical space, its budget and the people who work in it. You will be the single point of ownership for how the office runs, and the person colleagues turn to when something time-sensitive comes up. Just as important, you will look after the people who work here: a clean, safe and comfortable space, a warm welcome for every new hire, and a first point of contact for anything colleagues need from the workplace. You are someone who enjoys solving problems and never shy away from a challenge. What You’ll Do • Employee Welfare: Look after the wellbeing of the team: keep the office clean, safe, comfortable and well stocked, and be the first point of contact for colleagues’ workplace needs. Help people feel welcome, supported and able to do their best work. • Office & Facilities Management: Own day-to-day office operations: supplies, deliveries, maintenance and cleaning. Be the contact for building management and the landlord. Own the office budget and coordinate bookkeeping with Finance. Be on site to handle urgent issues. • Events & Employee Experience: Help organize Israel events and meetups, and coordinate employee gifts, swag and special-occasion items for birthdays and holidays. • Office & Workplace Projects: Own office projects end to end, such as moves, expansions and renovations, managing timelines, budgets and vendors. • Equipment & Workplace Logistics: Set up laptops and workstations for new hires and manage the local hardware inventory: tracking, repairs, replacements and storage. • Travel & Vendor Management: Coordinate business travel. Own vendor contracts, renewals and invoices, and source and compare quotes for supplies, equipment, furniture and services. • Operations Support: Take on other operations tasks from the VP of Operations, and back up adjacent Ops tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone who treats the office like their own business: proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning a project from a spreadsheet to a finished room, and a budget from a vendor quote to a paid invoice. Must-Haves: • Experience: 3+ years running office or workplace operations, ideally at a fast-growing startup • People-First Mindset: Warm, discreet and service-oriented, with real care for colleagues’ wellbeing and the judgment to handle personal matters sensitively • Hands-On & Available: Comfortable with the physical side of the job, such as deliveries, equipment and moves, and able to respond to urgent facilities issues, • Budget Ownership: Comfortable owning a budget, comparing vendor quotes, and managing contracts and invoices • Language: Fluent Hebrew and English • Mindset: An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving challenging problems and thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Nice-to-Haves: • Basic IT: Experience supporting IT or equipment logistics, or hardware troubleshooting • Bookkeeping: Basic bookkeeping or expense-coding experience • Events: Event-planning experience • Growth Stage: Experience operating inside a rapidly scaling company How to Apply Does this role sound like a good fit for you?
