Security Analyst Team Lead
Legit Security · Israel

Description Legit Security is looking for an experienced security leader to build and lead our Security Analyst team — the people who turn the latest threats, frameworks, and data into detections, fixes, content, and insights inside our product and for the industry About Us We are a well-funded cybersecurity startup backed by top-tier VCs. Our mission is to solve some of the most challenging problems in software security – how to make organizations build with AI fast, and stay secure, especially against the rising threats from supply chain attacks. Our solution provides full management from AI-generated code to deployment – helping customers analyze their software risk, fix it with agents and secure code during generation. We are in a fast-growing new space and work hard to become the leader. What you'll own • Own the business of security analysis in Legit – owning the quality and content of our risk detection, threat intelligence feed and security-matter-expertise. • Manage the team — set the bar for the work, coach analysts day-to-day, and own their development and performance. • Own the team's roadmap together with engineering, product and marketing: prioritize and bring initiatives to promote your business. • Be the focal point to lead Legit's response to global incidents in supply chain and application security — decide how the team reacts, what ships into the product, and what we publish externally. • Own the quality and voice of the team's security content — guides, remediation steps, in-product insights, blogs and social publications — and represent Legit as a thought leader in the space. • Partner with customers and field teams on high-stakes analyses of customer data and environments; present findings to security leaders and use those engagements to sharpen the team's focus. Requirements What you’ll bring • Has experience leading a security research, detection or analyst team • Has deep hands-on background in cybersecurity or application security or supply chain security or a closely related domain. • Has some development experience (can be AI-based), and is comfortable with modern development workflows. • Knows how to balance speed and rigor — and how to make that trade-off legible to a team under incident pressure. • Writing and speaking skills in English enough to represent Legit publicly: customer executives, webcasts, blogs and social platforms. If you think you are "Legit”, let's talk

Senior Software Engineer

Description About Legit Security We're a well-funded cybersecurity company backed by top-tier VCs, solving one of the hardest problems in modern software security: how AI-first organizations can ship fast without security slowing them down. We're building the platform that secures the era where AI writes the code- using AI agents to generate secure code, detect vulnerabilities, and remediate them automatically. It's a fast-moving, category-defining space, and we're leading it. The Role We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has already built real systems at real companies- someone who has owned architecture decisions, shipped to production at scale, and pushes their team's bar higher. You're not just curious about AI; AI is already how you work. You use it to design, code, debug, and accelerate yourself daily, and you have strong opinions on how to apply it to product engineering. This is a builder role. You'll lead technical initiatives end-to-end, design systems from scratch, break ambiguous problems into shippable work, and mentor strong engineers around you. What you'll do Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-component features across our cloud-native platform. Own the architecture for new product areas- make the hard trade-offs, write the design docs, and drive them through review. Break down vague, AI-shaped problems into concrete engineering work and ship them. Build and operate systems running at meaningful scale on Kubernetes. Raise the engineering bar through code review, mentorship, and applying AI tooling to how the team works. Requirements What we're looking for • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping and operating production systems at a commercial product company. • Proven track record of independent technical leadership: you've personally architected systems, written the design docs, and led projects from idea to production- not just implemented someone else's spec. • Strong ability to decompose ambiguous, large-scope projects into clear, shippable tasks. • Hands-on experience operating high-scale production systems- performance, reliability, and cost trade-offs are not theoretical for you. • Deep, daily experience working in Kubernetes-based environments. • AI-first mindset: AI tooling is core to how you build software. You can speak concretely about how you use it, where it falls short, and how to design products that leverage LLMs and agents responsibly. • Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (C#, Python, Go, Node.js, or Java) and comfort working across the stack, including modern frontend (React/TypeScript). • Solid grounding in relational databases and data modeling, and in at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Advantages • Background in an elite Israeli military technology unit on top of industry experience. • Startup experience- especially as an early or senior engineer in a fast-growth environment. • Experience building LLM-powered agents, AI products, or security-focused engineering.

Description About Legit Security We're a well-funded cybersecurity company backed by top-tier VCs, solving one of the hardest problems in modern software security: how AI-first organizations can ship fast without security slowing them down. We're building the platform that secures the era where AI writes the code, using AI agents to generate secure code, detect vulnerabilities, and remediate them automatically. It's a fast-moving, category-defining space, and we're leading it. The Role You'll be the tech lead of a team of 6 engineers that builds the most technical and complex parts of our platform and runs them at large scale. This is a hands-on technical leadership role: you own the technical direction and the architecture, and you bring real passion for leading people and helping the engineers around you grow professionally. You lead through design docs, code review, and example, and you stay deep in the code. We're looking for someone who has architected systems, shipped to production at scale, and led projects from idea to production, not just implemented someone else's spec. AI is both how you work and what you build: you use it to move faster every day, and you know what it takes to put LLMs in front of customers. Our stack: Go, Python, and C#/.NET on the backend, React/TypeScript on the frontend, PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ, Kubernetes on AWS. What you'll do • Own the technical direction of your team and the technical quality of what it ships. • Lead the design of the platform's most complex, multi-component systems: make the hard trade-offs, write the design docs, and drive them through review. • Design and ship LLM-powered capabilities end to end: agent architectures, evaluation, guardrails, and the cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs of running them at production scale. • Run what you build: share the team's on-call rotation, like every engineer here, and feed what production teaches you back into the design. • Turn ambiguous, large-scope problems (most of them involving LLMs and agents) into concrete, shippable plans, and keep scope honest so the team ships predictably. • Grow the engineers around you through code review, mentorship, and direct feedback: you raise the bar by example, not authority. • Make AI-first engineering practice real for your team: not tool tourism, but everyday productivity. Requirements • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping and operating production systems at a commercial product company. • 2+ years leading major projects or mentoring engineers, formally or informally: people have looked to you for direction, and you've raised a team's bar. • A track record of independent technical leadership: you've personally architected systems, written the design docs, and led projects from idea to production. • Hands-on experience operating high-scale production systems: performance, reliability, and cost trade-offs are not theoretical for you. • Strong proficiency in a modern backend language and comfort working across the stack, including a modern frontend framework. • You've built with LLMs, and AI tooling is core to how you build software: you can speak concretely about agent architectures, evaluation, where models fail, and how to design products that use them responsibly. • Experience running services on Kubernetes in a major cloud - Advantage. • Startup experience as a founder, core engineer, or first tech lead - Advantage. • Experience building security products - Advantage.
