Daylight's architecture combines an agentic platform that runs the full cycle from detection to response with security experts from IR and threat hunting backgrounds. The platform collects identity and business context across systems to investigate alerts and continuously learns your environment. Security experts validate decisions, feed insights into the platform, optimize detections, and take over in case of an incident. The result: security teams move from firefighting to strategic work. We're looking for a hands-on IT Manager to join us at Daylight Security and own corporate IT end to end. This is our first dedicated IT hire — today the work is split between the Infra & Security team and a part-time external provider. You'll take it over, professionalize it, and automate as much of it as possible, for a fully cloud, all-Mac company of ~60 people. At a security company, the corporate fleet is an attack surface. This role sits inside Infra & Security, not next to it, and you'll work closely with Security, People, and Finance. If you're excited by owning a function outright, enjoy working in a fast-paced startup, and want your work to have real impact, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities: • Own Google Workspace as our identity layer — OU and group structure, SAML/OIDC app integrations, Context-Aware Access policies, passkey and MFA enforcement, admin API automation • Own the macOS fleet through MDM — zero-touch enrollment, configuration profiles, patch and OS update enforcement, software deployment, compliance reporting • Own the employee lifecycle — onboarding and offboarding runbooks, access provisioning and revocation, hardware procurement, shipping, and returns • Run day-to-day IT support in Slack, set response SLAs and service metrics, and manage the external IT provider relationship • Own the SaaS estate — licensing, renewals, vendor management, periodic access reviews, and spend optimization • Build AI-native automation across Workspace, Slack, MDM, and HR systems using vendor APIs, scripts, and agentic tooling. We build AI agents for a living; internal IT should run on them • Partner with Infra & Security on endpoint security, zero-trust network access, secrets management, and incident response • Produce audit evidence — device inventory, access reviews, offboarding proof • Own office connectivity, conference room A/V, and network infrastructure • Maintain runbooks, inventories, and documentation good enough that someone else can follow them Requirements: • 5+ years in IT operations or system administration at a cloud-native company • Deep hands-on Google Workspace administration, beyond user management — OUs, SAML app integration, Context-Aware Access, admin API, domain-wide delegation hygiene • Strong macOS administration at scale through a modern MDM (Kandji, Jamf, Mosyle, or similar), including scripting and configuration profiles • Real scripting and automation ability — Python, Bash, or Go against vendor APIs, or low-code and agentic workflow platforms • Solid IAM fundamentals — SAML/OIDC, SCIM, FIDO2/passkeys, least privilege, joiner-mover-leaver • Comfort working in an AI-native environment, whether that's using AI in your daily work or building automation on top of it • Comfortable as the sole owner of a function — self-directed, writes things down, closes loops without being chased • Hebrew and English Nice to have: • Prior IT at a security or regulated company; SOC 2 / ISO 27001 evidence collection • ZTNA (Twingate, Tailscale, Cloudflare) and EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) • Slack Enterprise Grid administration • AWS or GCP exposure; Terraform

Security experts validate decisions, feed insights into the platform, optimize detections, and take over in case of an incident. The result: security teams move from firefighting to strategic work. We're looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our globally distributed, high-impact security engineering team. You will design and implement detection logic, investigate alerts, and automate response mechanisms. As an early hire, you'll work closely with our platform and AI teams to shape how autonomous threat detection and response is built and delivered at scale. Responsibilities: • Lead Investigations: Triage, analyze, and respond to alerts across cloud, endpoint, and network environments with automation-first principles. • Build Detections: Write detection logic and behavioral rules as code that is clear, testable, and scalable. • Automate Response Workflows: Develop Go-based automation for enrichment, containment, and remediation playbooks. • Define Detection-as-Code Practices: Implement a detection and response framework with strong engineering fundamentals (testing, CI/CD, version • control). • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with platform and AI teams to integrate detection logic into the broader Daylight stack. • Support DFIR: Participate in incident investigations and post-incident reviews; DFIR skills (memory, disk, or cloud forensics) are a strong plus. Requirements: • Security Operations Experience: 3+ years in detection engineering, incident response, or blue team roles. • Automation Mindset: You automate what others manually repeat. Experience building or integrating automated response systems is key. • Cloud-Native Awareness: Familiarity with detecting and responding to threats in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • DFIR Skills: Practical experience in digital forensics and incident response — logs, memory, containers, cloud. • Threat-Informed Thinking: Comfort with attacker tactics and techniques (MITRE ATT&CK, behavioral detection, threat modeling).

Cloud FinOps Engineer
Daylight Security · Tel Aviv-Yafo

Daylight is a security services company delivering Managed Agentic Security Services (MASS), including MDR, threat hunting, security data lake, and more, through a fundamentally different architecture than traditional security services providers. We’re looking for a Cloud FinOps Engineer to own and drive cloud cost optimization across Daylight’s infrastructure. You’ll work hands-on across AWS, Kubernetes, and our data and observability stack to improve efficiency, optimize cloud spend, and build the tooling and processes that help us scale sustainably. What You’ll Do • Own cloud cost as a metric: define, instrument, and report unit economics such as cost per tenant, per GB ingested, and per environment, and drive them down quarter over quarter • Build cost visibility through tagging and allocation standards, showback across teams and customers, budgets, anomaly detection, and dashboards people actually open • Find and land savings across compute right-sizing, Karpenter and Spot strategy, commitment coverage, storage lifecycle policies, networking and data transfer, and the long tail of idle resources • Optimize the cost of our data and observability layers, including streaming ingestion, the data lake and warehouse, and the observability pipeline • Shift cost left by putting estimates into pull requests and IaC review, so engineers see the price of a change before it ships rather than in next month's bill • Build and maintain infrastructure as code, our GitOps delivery pipeline, and Kubernetes platform work alongside the rest of the team, and participate in on-call • Partner with Engineering, Finance, and leadership on forecasting, vendor and contract renewals, and capacity planning What we're looking for • 3+ years of hands-on FinOps experience within a medium-sized organization, either as part of a dedicated FinOps team or in a leadership capacity. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and how architectural decisions impact cloud costs. Familiarity with Terraform and modern cloud infrastructure is expected. An engineering or DevOps background is a plus. • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to independently identify cost optimization opportunities and take responsibility for improving cloud financial efficiency. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex cost and usage data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations. Comfortable working with cloud billing platforms and cost management tools. • Experience working with AI tools, including monitoring and analyzing AI usage, tracking associated costs, and leveraging AI to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and automate processes. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to communicate financial insights and influence decisions. • A collaborative approach and the ability to balance technical requirements with financial considerations, aligning stakeholders around common goals. Why this role You’ll be the first person at Daylight to own FinOps, so you’ll be building the practice rather than inheriting one. Our infrastructure is modern and fully codified — Terraform, ArgoCD, EKS, and Karpenter — giving you the opportunity to focus on meaningful optimization from day one. At our stage of growth, the decisions you make now will directly shape our infrastructure efficiency and cost structure as we scale.
