Lead the architecture and technical direction of a new product initiative at Datafy (0→1) Design and build complex, high-performance systems from the ground up Define core architectural principles, technology choices, and system design Work hands-on on critical parts of the system and drive implementation Establish high engineering standards (performance, reliability, scalability, code quality) Drive technical decision-making in an ambiguous, fast-evolving environment Collaborate closely with product and leadership to shape the product and its technical vision Requirements: Proven experience leading architecture of complex, distributed, or data-intensive systems Strong hands-on development background with a passion for building systems from scratch Deep understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization Experience building and scaling large-scale SaaS systems Proven experience delivering high-availability, enterprise-grade systems Strong experience with cloud environments (AWS – advantage) Experience designing and deploying microservices architectures (Kubernetes – advantage) Strong understanding of production environments, deployment, and system reliability Background in storage systems - advantage About Datafy Datafy is a cutting-edge startup revolutionizing cloud storage efficiency with innovative solutions that help customers optimize and scale their cloud storage usage, achieving significant cost savings. Design, develop, test and maintain high-performance backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with frontend and other components. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our backend infrastructure. Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge sharing within the team. Requirements 6+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with proven experience in developing an enterprise-grade SaaS platform. Production experience with Golang / Java / Scala / C# (Golang is an advantage). Experience in designing and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant system architectures. Familiarity with various database technologies and microservices architecture. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and Public Cloud Services (preferably AWS). Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts in a clear and efficient manner. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
