The Application Engineer will provide expert level technical customer Pre-Sale and post-sale support for Cadence customers in Physical Design area. Requirements: • BSc / MSc/ PhD in Electrical engineering from a leading institute. • 7+ years of experience in Physical Design (back-end) digital implementation: floor planning, place and route, clockTree, STA • Experience in the Synthesis, Formal verification and DFT is an advantage. • Experience in microelectronics/ EDA industry. • High level of English. • Strong presentation and communication skills. In this role, you will: • Coordinate closely with sales, marketing teams and business partners to ensure smooth implementation of marketing strategies and sales communications, particularly tradeshows and Cadence-hosted events • Manage webinars using our marketing automation tools, including working with internal teams for design, copy, social media graphics, dry runs with presenters, live coordination, and report preparation • Work with our demand generation team to track leads from events (MQLs) • Support and elevate Cadence's social media initiatives across the region, ensuring alignment with our global voice and audience engagement goals. • Collaborate with employees to develop testimonials, video campaigns, and other creative assets that amplify our employer branding and connect with our audiences. • Budget management - coordinate PO and invoice processing Requirements • 4+ years of experience as marketing specialist in a B2B environment • Experience leading and managing events, tradeshows and conferences Including E2E ownership of event logistics, including vendor coordination, hotel bookings, exhibition arrangements, and on-the-ground event management. • Experience coordinating PR activity with agencies and media outlets • Lead E2E comprehensive marketing strategy, campaigns and initiatives in alignment with different business unites within the company • Superior English communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must • Creative thinker, strong collaborator, willing to go the extra mile to delight our customers • Occasional travel to Europe and other regions will be required Location This role is located in our Petah Tikva office. This is a great opportunity for a strong technical engineer to join a highly skilled Application Engineering team in a leading EDA company, working with cutting‑edge tools, advanced technologies, and the most innovative semiconductor companies in the industry. The Application Engineer combines deep technical expertise with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills to support customers, drive technology adoption, and contribute to the successful deployment of Cadence Custom IC solutions. The role involves close collaboration with customers as well as with Cadence R&D and Product teams to help define, improve, and proliferate new solutions. Key Responsibilities • Support customers adoption and effective use of Cadence Custom IC solutions. • Leveraging the Virtuoso environment and associated tools, to help customers address complex design challenges from concept to successful deployment. • Drive technical campaigns, product evaluations, and benchmarks within a customer‑facing and technically challenging environment. • Provide methodology guidance, best‑practice recommendations, and technical problem resolution • Work closely with customers to understand their design challenges and propose appropriate solutions. • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive product improvements and solution proliferation Opportunities to Develop • Acquire a strong technical understanding of the complete custom IC design. • Deepen expertise in mixed‑signal design methodologies and advanced EDA tools. • Build long‑term customer relationships by understanding customer needs and contributing to solution strategies • Contribute to the development and improvement of our flows and methodologies. • Gain exposure to advanced process technologies and complex design environments.
