About the Team Our Engineering team builds the platform that powers Apiiro's mission: giving development teams the risk context to ship fast and stay secure. We work across a rich technical stack — from deep code analysis engines to customer-facing features — and take full ownership of what we build, from architecture to production. We move fast, collaborate closely with product and customers, and aren't afraid to tackle hard problems. What You Will Do • Build robust, scalable systems using a mix of languages, frameworks, and machine learning models, taking full ownership of features from idea to live product. • Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and integrate valuable insights into your work. • Drive cross-disciplinary initiatives across tech domains — from DevOps and infrastructure to data engineering and full-stack development — expanding your impact company-wide. • Partner with product and research teams to deliver innovative security capabilities that make a real difference for development teams. What You're About • 5+ years of backend or server-side development experience, with a track record of building complex systems from scratch through every phase — architecture, development, and deployment. • A creative problem solver who thrives on tackling tough technical challenges with curiosity and a growth mindset. • Strong ownership mentality: you drive features end-to-end and take pride in the quality of what you ship. • Collaborative and customer-centric: you listen, understand context, and build solutions that truly make a difference. • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. About the Team Our R&D teams build and own the features that power Apiiro's platform — from deep code analysis to risk detection to developer-facing workflows. AI isn't a separate initiative here; it's how we build. Every engineering team at Apiiro is actively embedding LLMs, AI agents, and generative AI into the products they own, moving from experimentation to production and keeping things running reliably once they're there. What You Will Do • Build and ship end-to-end AI-driven features and agentic workflows- from experimentation through validation to production deployment (Python and C#). • Design scalable backend services that support production-grade agentic AI capabilities. • Develop and improve solutions powered by LLMs, AI agents, multi-agent systems, and generative AI frameworks. • Evaluate agentic architectures and model performance, owning monitoring, reliability, and continuous improvement in production. • Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to drive AI innovation across the platform. What You're About • 5+ years of hands-on backend software engineering experience. • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. • Proven experience building LLM-powered applications, AI agents, or generative AI systems using modern AI/ML frameworks. • Self-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment — you don't wait to be told what to do next. • Strong collaborator with clear communication skills; you thrive in diverse, cross-functional teams. • Hands-on experience with multi-agent architectures or agentic evaluation frameworks (preferred). • Familiarity with C# or polyglot engineering environments (a plus). We drive the innovation behind Apiiro's AI-native platform, researching and prototyping the next generation of capabilities and guiding both product and go-to-market teams in bringing them to customers. We work at the edge of the security industry, envisioning and building first-of-their-kind, category-defining agentic development security solutions. What You Will Do • Research and prototype novel approaches to application security that go beyond traditional AppSec tooling. • Build proofs-of-concept for advanced prevention, detection, triage, and remediation capabilities. • Design experiments and validate new security features through data-driven testing. • Partner with product and engineering to bring successful POCs into the core platform. • Evaluate and optimize LLM-based agents and model outputs for security use cases. What You're About • 5+ years building security solutions, with deep-level understanding of code security: attack patterns, detection methods, and contextual remediation. • You know how to scientifically tell truth from information: distill signal from noise and extract exceptional results out of AI agents. • Strong research and engineering fundamentals, with hands-on experience building new solutions from scratch. • A problem-solver mindset: you learn fast and approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity. • A proactive team player who takes ownership and helps the team move faster. We work at the intersection of customer insight, engineering, and go-to-market- translating complex security challenges into clear, high-impact product experiences. This role exists to drive a critical product area as we scale our ASPM platform in the AI era. What You Will Do • Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for your domain, from vision and strategy through roadmap, backlog, and release. • Translate vision into detailed product strategy and a development backlog that engineering can execute against. • Lead the product release cycle: identify bottlenecks proactively, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and raise flags early. • Connect with customers and internal stakeholders to build deep market understanding and surface requirements. • Define the metrics and KPIs that measure the health and success of your product area. What You're About • 5+ years as a Product Manager on security or developer-focused products. • Ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, precise user experiences. • Strong communicator who thrives working daily with engineers, designers, and marketing in a technically-oriented team. • Deep understanding of the full product lifecycle: strategy, roadmap, requirements, UI/UX, development, and release. • Detail-oriented with strong leadership skills and a bias for getting things done. • Engineering background or strong technical foundation (preferred). • Experience with Application Security products (a plus).
