Senior Direct-Response Copywriter
Acente · Remote

About the Role As our Senior Direct-Response Copywriter, you will create high-performing copy across e-commerce acquisition funnels, including advertorials, sales pages, landing pages, VSLs, and upsells, with a strong focus on converting cold traffic into customers. This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced DTC e-commerce copywriter who understands how to turn customer insights and creative angles into copy that drives measurable performance. You’ll work closely with Media Buying and Creative teams to develop, test, and iterate messaging based on what is actually working in market. What You’ll Own • Write high-converting advertorials and native-style content designed to engage and convert cold traffic without feeling like traditional advertising. • Own copy across direct-response e-commerce funnels, including landing pages, sales pages, product pages, upsells, and other key conversion touchpoints. • Write and iterate on video sales letters (VSLs) and long-form sales copy, developing compelling narratives, hooks, offers, and calls to action. • Turn customer research, market insights, and performance learnings into new messaging angles and copy concepts. • Approach every asset with a performance mindset, using conversion data and testing results to understand what works, identify opportunities, and continuously improve copy. • Partner closely with Media Buying and Creative teams to align messaging, angles, and offers with campaign performance and broader acquisition strategy. • Develop and test different hooks, angles, mechanisms, offers, and messaging frameworks, continuously building on winning concepts. • Use AI tools strategically to accelerate research, ideation, iteration, and production while maintaining strong judgment, originality, and writing quality. • As you grow into the role, contribute to raising the quality of copy across the team, providing thoughtful feedback and helping develop more junior copywriters. What you Bring • 5+ years of hands-on direct-response copywriting experience within e-commerce / DTC, with a strong portfolio demonstrating performance-focused work. • Proven experience writing advertorials, sales pages, landing pages, VSLs, and long-form direct-response copy. • Strong understanding of direct-response marketing and customer psychology, with the ability to turn insights into compelling hooks, angles, offers, and messaging. • A strong performance mindset, with experience using conversion data, testing, and market feedback to improve copy rather than evaluating work on writing quality alone. • Native or bilingual-level English, with the ability to write natural, persuasive, reader-first copy for English-speaking audiences. • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with Media Buyers, Creative teams, or other performance marketing partners. • Experience with health, wellness, supplements, lifestyle, subscription businesses, or scaling DTC brands is a strong plus. • The maturity and judgment to review other writers’ work, provide strong feedback, and potentially mentor more junior copywriters as the team grows.

Senior E-Commerce Developer

About the Role As our Senior E-Commerce Developer, you will own the front-end implementation of high-performing DTC e-commerce funnels. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who combines strong front-end development skills, DTC e-commerce experience, and an AI-first approach to development. You’ll build and customize customer journeys across advertorials, quizzes, sales pages, checkouts, upsells, and post-purchase experiences, turning prepared designs and business requirements into fast, reliable, conversion-focused experiences. You’ll work primarily with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, using AI development tools to accelerate execution while maintaining strong technical judgment and quality standards. At Acentecom, we believe strong technical execution is about more than writing code. We’re looking for someone who can understand what needs to be built, choose an efficient approach, move quickly from design to production, and independently troubleshoot and improve their work. What You’ll Own • Own the development and ongoing optimization of DTC e-commerce funnels, implementing complete customer journeys from landing and sales pages through checkout, upsells, and post-purchase experiences. • Build and customize pages and flows, including checkout experiences, funnel pages, offers, upsells, and other components required to support conversion-focused customer journeys. • Translate Figma designs, copy, images, templates, and existing assets into responsive, production-ready front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Build custom-coded quizzes and interactive funnel experiences when required, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into the broader customer journey. • Configure and support A/B tests and funnel experiments, implementing variations accurately and ensuring the underlying experience performs as intended. • Use AI coding tools as a core part of your development workflow, accelerating implementation, troubleshooting, iteration, and repetitive development tasks without compromising code quality. • Apply strong technical judgment to review, validate, troubleshoot, and modify AI-generated code, rather than relying on AI output without understanding how it works. • Own QA and implementation quality across your work, testing responsiveness, functionality, checkout behavior, funnel logic, and customer journeys before release. • Continuously identify opportunities to improve development speed, reusable templates, automation, and workflows, helping the team deliver high-quality experiences more efficiently. • Partner closely with other developers and cross-functional teams, taking ownership of your work and moving projects from requirements through successful production launch with minimal hand-holding. What You Bring • Strong hands-on experience with checkouts, including practical knowledge of configuring the platform, modifying checkout experiences, building or customizing funnel pages, and working with its core functionality. • Strong front-end development skills across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience building responsive, production-ready web experiences. • Hands-on experience building DTC/e-commerce funnels, with a strong understanding of customer journeys across landing pages, sales pages, quizzes, checkouts, upsells, and post-purchase experiences. • Ability to translate Figma designs and prepared creative assets into functional front-end pages quickly and accurately. • Strong experience using AI coding tools to accelerate front-end development, with the technical knowledge required to review, troubleshoot, modify, and validate AI-generated output. • A strong understanding of conversion-focused e-commerce development, with the ability to recognize implementation issues that could create friction or negatively impact the customer experience. • Experience implementing A/B tests and experimentation within e-commerce funnels. • A highly practical and autonomous approach. You can take a requirement, determine the right implementation path, solve problems independently, and deliver without requiring extensive technical direction. • A strong focus on speed and quality, using templates, automation, AI, and existing systems intelligently rather than rebuilding straightforward solutions manually. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively
